Exactly right about my vine being "Thunbergia"....don't think I identified them as anything other! That orange just makes me happy when I look at it...wish it had more to offer the hummingbirds who stop by to inspect, but they quickly find alternatives among the wildflowers all over the property!

I have some land where I live and am fortunate to have been given 14 varieties of day lilies from a friend who grows 30+ kinds!! I tucked them into the ravine we have along the back of the house to make it seem natural. I also added a lilac bush, a few peonies (MY LOVE!!!) and this late August will add a few hydrangeas, echinacea, black eyed susan's and will ease up with the straight line with some rocks and have the edge meander a bit more
