Can you scoot the peninsula out 12” more? Or use a 24” sink base instead of a 36”? Which will still fit a nice sized sink. An 18” DW maybe? If so, you can get that Super Susan.

Can you post a layout with measurements? If you are doing a single sink, then most likely you can use a SB27 or SB30 to gain the inches needed to fit the Lazy Susan on that side like Sophie's idea.

No, that’s not doable in your situation. Certain clearances have to be met, and you do not appear to have enough room between the corner and range to make that happen. 48” blind corner plus 12” more inches between it and the range. So, 60”-66” between the back edge of the peninsula and the range.

I have a dining table in front peninsula.... The dining table would sit in from of my window. So I did not want to move the dining table down because, it would not be center in front of the window.

The wider cabinet left of your stove could be a wiser choice; then move the spice cabinet elsewhere -- somewhere not adjacent to a heat source. You could make that wider cabinet a vertical drawer for your countertop appliances.

If the cabinet to the right of the stove is for your cooking utensils, consider whether or not any of those three drawers are deep enough for your cooking utensils that wouldn't fit well in a drawer of the traditional depth -- such as a large soup/stew ladle or a potato masher.

I'd strongly recommend a deep double stainless steel sink w/faucet w/high arc. Would you be able to increase the length of your peninsula from what appears to be 6' to 8'

One space to consider for your spice cabinet could be a shallow side cabinet at end of the peninsula, perhaps made deep enough to give you room for a sugar bowl and S&P shaker.

As you consider your peninsula size option, pay attention to whether the size you choose could add cost for your countertop by making it a non-stock size.

RE: BLIND SPOT (unnecessary). That difficult to access corner base cabinet to the right of your sink could be accessible from the next room. Even if you choose to store picnic supplies and/or seldom used items (perhaps larger cake covers and other plastic containers) in that area, at least the storage space would not be wasted -- just use the same kind of cabinet door you use for the rest of your kitchen cabinets.

What appears to be a narrow space left of the two overhead cabinets to the right of the sink could also easily be accessed from the adjoining room. With a glass side door, that overhead cabinet would be a great place to store decorative items such as a decorative vase or candle holder ... or even the S&P and sugar containers to be used in the adjoining dining area and/or by those seated at your bar.

You might consider taking several inches off that short wall to the right of the refrigerator so the upper right door will fully open.

I am wondering if the drawers would be deep enough for my pots too. I had a cabinet on that side and I placed my pots there. I have a pressure cooker and Ninja.

I cant go further than 87 inches because the hallway is on the left of the dishwasher.

Having a blind spot in that corner of your base cabinets is unnecessary because your room design enables you to add a door beneath the bar near the outside wall and access that corner base cabinet from the dining area.

You can also add a side door to your overhead cabinets either in addition to or instead of the narrow left door for your overhead cabinet.

If you have a vertical drawer plan for your spices, an appliance drawer is the same basic idea -- just add less shelves and make them wider -- probably only two. You'll need at least shallow sides to keep the appliances and cords in their place in the drawer as you open/close it.

Alternately, you could keep your traditional cabinet but frame inside so you could add one or two pull out shelves behind the door (w/tall backs and sides that slope toward the front on the bottom deepest one). Fancy hardware is available but the most simple "drawer" is a tray w/sides sitting on a shelf behind a door that you can pull out or push back in..

Something else to consider for your appliances is building a rolling cube w/shelves sized for housing your countertop appliances -- you can put a door on only one sides or on more sides. Such a cube, with wheels, could be parked wherever is out of the way.

If you want to "store" your microwave atop your appliance cube at eye level, use that as your guide for the height of the cube. The overall width/depth of the cube would be at least the width of your microwave. Make sure the shelves inside the cube are large enough and spaced apart far enough so the rest of your countertop appliances will fit inside it. Any appliance you don't use frequently could be stored in your hidden corner (blind spot) cabinet rather than taking up space in your cube.

Yes, provided the width works. Would still put that door in the dining side of the corner because stuff can fall off those movable shelves.

Based on the youtube link, it looks like I have hope.

54” - 3” filler and the 45” cabinet = 6”. Unless you’re dealing with custom, nope, no pullout is going to work in that corner. .Unless you go for the much better option of the Duper Susan.

You need to either access the blind from the other side, which is its own bit of add a filler and cabinet here and there to make it work. Or you need to downsize that over scale sink andgit in the SS.

A kitchen that small, with a DW, doesn’t need a 33” sink. A 21”-25” is more than adequate.

I was able to find so me old pix of the area. This is a better scale of the space.This is why we thought it would be crammed in that area.

Have you considered adding a second window and centering your table with a double window -- more room for between table and peninsula.

Also, if you want access to the corner of the base cabinet but do not want a cabinet door there, you could add wainscoting to the dining side of the peninsula and have one of the wainscoting panels disguise the door -- create hidden storage access.

The cabinets next to my stove don't get hot--I wouldn't worry about keeping spices in them. In fact, I do keep spices there.

I agree with eliminating the 9" spice cabinet and turning the 18" door base and 9" spice into a 27" drawer base. I have my spices laid out in the top drawer of a 36" drawer base and it works really well. You'll greatly increase your storage space. I also added a 24" cabinet with the door opening on the other side of my peninsula. I keep my pressure cooker, large cast iron enamel dutch oven, and Kitchenaid stand mixer there on two roll out shelves. It takes advantage of the dead space very well.

Will you have adequate room on the refrigerator wall side to fully open the fridge door?

Can you show the wall opposite the sink wall? Perhaps you could add 12" deep cabinets there to increase storage.

I think a more functional kitchen has priority over the table lining up with the window. I don't think you should let that dictate your whole design.

What does the space around the kitchen look like? Can you sketch the space?

I plan on changing the table as well to a smaller taBLE. More than likely a circular table.

I'm thinking of what everyone is saying and it makes since that a functional kitchen should be my priority.
