Need fabric for roller shade to match Benjamin Moore Simply white
Comments (3)Hunter Douglas is where I would start looking. Have your simply white chip with you. Keep in mind that the color of the shade will change if it is light filtering fabric. I would think the only way you will get a consistent white is if you choose black-out shades. Maybe white light filtering bamboo shades would be more consistent than fabric... Comments (0)<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?><md>Long story long our current trim is a discontinued paint line that cannot be color matched. Whatever I paint the trim colorwise will eventually go on our bathroom and kitchen cabinets. I have tried what is locally available. Benjamin Moore, Sherwin Williams, PPG. I need something that will brush and spray well. PPG Delicate White Satin- dried to quickly and went on streaky due to the drying factor. Sherwin Williams Pure White in Emerald Urethane Semi for trim is awesome, paints and levels like a dream, however tactically the trim feels chalky not silky....See Morepainter substituted coronado paint for benjamin moore white dove
Comments (22)I am getting conflicting information of weather the color is the true color or a color match. The same store told me 2 different things. Sounds like it's too late now but FYI. The only way to know is to measure the Coronado mix to a new, clean paint chip - you need a target, a standard to measure against. Preferably not one from the fandeck. Ask the store to crack open a new pack of chips and pull one from there. Ordering a designer over-sized chip from Orderfront is best. Wherever you get the target paint chip, there are two ways to measure and compare it to a sample from the can. You need to paint a sample to measure. Two coats. Has to be thoroughly dry. The store can measure each and tell you the difference. You want them to tell you the Delta E. If it's under 1.0, it's a minimal difference and honestly hard to argue because it's a degree of difference most people would never notice. And, it's a degree of difference you're going to adapt to and pay no mind to in about two weeks. The other option if you don't trust the store is to order a Color Muse and measure the two colors yourself. The app has a compare function with a Delta E alert. If the two colors are a qualified match, you get a green Delta E. If there's a problem, it's red. Make sure you choose d65 from the menu like you see here. These colors are (obviously) not a match. You want to take 3 to 5 measurements from different areas of the chip and the painted sample just to get the most fair snapshot of both colors....See Morepainted kitchen cabinets with Benjamin Moore white dove reduced
Comments (17)I have a small galley kitchen, unfortunately no island, just a small penninsula I guess you call it, with a couple bar stools. I’m painting over maple cabinets and have warm britanica counter with greige colored longer subway tile backsplash already in place. The backsplash matches the veining in the counter. So I figured with my darker LVP floors, the white would look best. Just want it to look pretty soft , warm white without too much yellow or being too dark against the counter. Why is finding a white so hard 😞 I actually found the perfect white on a cabinet door at Home Depot, but nobody is able to match the color correctly. i’ve called the cabinet manufacturer and Home Depot and neither can give me the formula....See Moredsgts
