Benjamin Moore off white kitchen cabinet paint
Comments (21)linelle, color is so affected by everything around it. On the advice of an artist neighbor, we started painting our ceilings Marble White instead of white. Makes an amazing difference in how the room looks. The ceiling still reads white but it just warms things up a bit. Ahhh, color. So complex. I especially love the colors that change with the light. I like BM paint because they have a lot of those complex colors that do that. By complex, I mean colors that can be pushed in different directions depending on light and surroundings....See MoreBenjamin Moore White Dove
Comments (0)We’re remodeling a home. Currently it new oak styled LVP flooring and salmon colored walls. We have new white cabinets being delivered for the perimeter and a very dark navy island too. The itches backsplash will be a small marble herringbone. Right now the baseboard has its first coat of paint…SW Pure White. My question is: Is B.M. White Dove a good choice as a main paint color? Very occasionally I look at and I think it looks slightly pink!! The kitchen/family room gets western exposure. The dining room faces east/south east. We have lots of greenery around the house and the windows are low-e with a green tint. We’re also thinking of B.M. Ballet White for other rooms in the house. Should we be thinking of that every where? Help! Thank you in advance for sharing your knowledge!!...See Morewhite Dove by Benjamin Moore
Comments (38)Redtea I sure hope I enjoy all these projects IF they ever get started! My kitchen cabinets have been partially emptied for months with boxes lining my dining room walls. Piles of kitchen stuff in my basement. I need to get rid of half of it. Me with a broken hand and shoulder that has healed (after I tripped on a crack and face planted while hustling down the sidewalk). But now I have a frozen shoulder that aches a lot. At least I’m very mobile, so there’s that. I’m grateful things aren’t worse. But it sure cramped my style big time. Yes I meant Ben Moore White Dove. It’s my cabinet guys favorite it seems, and doing research a lot of people like it. I bought samples but it’s hard to know really. He even bought me a piece of cabinet material in White Dove. My counters will be a quartzite-Calacatta extra suede it is called. Definitely a quartzite - Macaubus. And I love the slab but I’m nervous about it. Some say it’s great and some say it’s very thirsty. I’m counting on the fabricators to seal it really well. Wow sorry about your leak issue! That’s always a worry. I’ve had nightmares where water is flowing down the stairs😂 Hope that problem gets fixed-always something with houses. Those dang squirrels! We had a flying squirrel in our attic years ago and it was costly to get rid of it....See MoreI want to paint my kitchen cabinets paper white by Benjamin Moore.
Comments (11)I had Paper White in a room in my previous house. Contrary to what Beth H. said, it looked blue gray, not green at all. BM's website also describes PW as a blue-gray. Gray Owl is somewhat green. While colors look different under different lighting conditions, I doubt this would be a good pairing. If you haven't already sampled large amounts of these colors next to each other, that would be your next step. You don't get a good enough idea of how colors look from the paint chips. At least get Samplize size samples. But I agree with Beth H. that Simply White or Cloud White would be a better choice. At some point in the future you may want to change your wall color. A white would be easier to pair with a different wall color than Paper White.
