I am in the process of painting my shed BM Graphite after seeing Chris loves Julia home exterior color. I’m doubting myself now because of how dark it is. Which seems crazy to me becasue I LOVE the look of deep dark charcoal no undertone colors. The photo of Chris loves Julia’s exterior is really a true depiction of the shade. When looking for other examples of exteriors painted in that color I found a photo that sealed the deal for me. However However, it was just a touch lighter in that photo but I just chalked it up to lighting differences in the photos. After painting 2 sides with 1 coat of Graphite I’m realizing that while it may be the same paint color maybe i prefer the lighter look. I’ll post some photos below. I can say for sure that BM Graphite in my opinion shows no underlying tones of blue or brown. Just picked up samples of BM Racoon Fur & Witching Hour. I’m about to paint and then compare. I will upload photos for anyone struggling with finding that ”perfect” gray color you had in your mind. Lol

I had saved this listing of BM SW equivalents. It does actually list SW 7757 High Reflective White as being a good match to Chantilly Lace as Anita posted above. I also just sometimes google SW equivalent with the paint name and depending on which one, it can be helpful to see prospective matches. I am not certain if I remember properly but I think BM Simply White does not have a close enough match, but this list also lists what Anita showed above, Pure White. Thank you for sharing the comments and pictures. They are so helpful to me! My husband and I are about to start a total kitchen renovation, but it has come to a halt because I can’t select the cabinet color. Everything has been chosen and ready to go. If anyone could help with a color, that would be terrific. Attached is a picture of the quartzite countertop that I selected. It’s white with warmer grays and even some hints of cream. The house is a 1920s traditional and we have selected warmer whites throughout. All trim is SW Dover White. I feel like a brighter white is needed for this countertop, but I’m worried about going too white, yet I don’t want to go too warm and clash with the quartzite. The backsplash will be dolomite marble. Any suggestions?

I think with whites the base becomes a big deal. I was told by a SW guy the teason they cant mat h their new White Snow Emerald Designer series color is that the new EDS base is whiter than their normal base. Was just told at a different store that each line of paint the base is different and that as you go up the line the look is usually cleane because of less clay in the paint (just what one paint guy said) Deciddd to use BM color because SW seems grY to me. Now finding out that my contractors guy might be using color mat hed PPG. wth So here I sit looking at my Ben Moore sample pints primed and painted plaster boards wondering why White Dove looks so seriously dark and freaking green but cloud white is white with a slight red undertine (which I kind of like actually but my "white" quartz is actually kind of yellow) all the exact opposite of every paint blogger review Ive read. I wont be able to afford to repaint and this is freaking me out.
