Entryway design help!
Comments (14)More photos of your home would be good... and tell more -- such as, do you have a mudroom back door? Btw, I bought a thrift shop vinyl chair like yours, and I happen to think the shape, etc. is ok......See MoreNew entryway design
Comments (7)How big is this area. Are you wanting to get rid of the pavers completely. A lot of the new builders in AZ are using them and these are not bad compared to some I've seen. They might even be the same or similar to the ones used on my house. I would think about keeping them and planting some amazing colorful pots with succulents and flowers. Maybe a bench along the wall under the window. Green Things has some amazing pots and very knowledgeable people to help with plantings....See MoreEntryway design
Comments (17)Since your walls are light and you’re going with white dove paint - you could also consider a streamlined, white console. That console option should also minimize visual clutter, as you view it through the railing. I don’t know if this would be your style - but just one idea/view for that: Or you could alternatively get a white console with a closed back or partially closed back - if you wanted to cover the outlets and the vent more. I am not clear exactly where all that is in the space, so you know best and can adjust my suggestions accordingly. It’s good that you have the outlets there for lamp(s) on a console- if you decide to go that way. In either case, I personally would not be too concerned about the vent and outlet view. If you go with a floor console - whatever console you decide upon, I would suggest something fairly streamlined/slim - not bulky - so that you keep the spacious feel of the foyer, as well as minimize the visual clutter on railing side....See MoreBedroom Entry Design Questions
Comments (16)Change your closet in the back bedroom to the outside wall though that is not ideal or just shift the door to the right some to give you better access. It is also the opposite laundry wall that makes that entrance a bit tight. By shifting your master entrance down to the bottom instead you can now make your walk in closet the full width of the room and prevent that bottle neck entrance....See Morepchavimangel
