Entryway design help please!
Comments (40)Julie--thank you so much for the ideas! Great name btw--lol. I really like the idea of painting the inside of the front door black...would match the stair rail. Where are the step runners from? I like the patterns! Do you think the stair carpet pads and the hallway runner should match or complement each other...matching would be easier for me. I found a light from Bellacor that I think I like for the hallway and would complement the ones we have in the kitchen (the darlana mini lantern). What do you think? http://www.bellacor.com/productdetail/minka-lavery-3296-613-audreys-point-polished-nickel-four-light-semi-flush-mount-1742532.htm Thank you! Comments (5)I like the idea and orientation of your tacky boot rack...so why not get something with a back that serves as a sort of room divider? You could put a cushion on top and have a seat for taking off shoes...Obviously you'll want the back to be finished. Also, light fixtures are very easy to replace. Get one you love and put it up. Keep the existing to put back when you move out. Both of these things won't break the bank and you simply take them with you when you move... I assume you'll be patching the walls? Ask the landlord for the paint so that you can match it. You can hang a picture...just don't have a thick frame...it will be fine as your door can only go as far as the doorknob allows. If you don't want to have a picture, these are fun and work well... I like the tree as you could add Command hooks (from 3M) to the branches here and there for your keys and scarves and hats.......See Moreentryway design help needed!
Comments (2)I think I'd go a little more fancy with the mirror to make this space a little more playful and interesting. I'd say that the smaller size would work better with the console size....See MoreEntryway Wall Design Help!
Comments (1)This is the only wall I see large enough to support a table and mirror. I'd recommend a Demilune table for this small area. The issue will be selecting something that isn't too wide for the wall area....See Moreeverdebz
