Installing vinyl plank over 40 year old, nailed subfloor

Hi all, we are in the process of remodeling a 1978 raised ranch. We will be installing Hallmark’s Courtier vinyl plank flooring over the existing subfloor. When the sub floor was installed 40 years ago the contractors used straight shank nails. Subsequently we have lots of squeaks in the flooring and some of the plywood is rough in the corners and not level in many spots. Will we need to replace all of the plywood? We do plan to screw down the plywood as much as possible to hopefully prevent squeaks in the future. However I am nervous that the imperfections and nails will eventually make their way back up. Does anybody have any suggestions for an epoxy that can be used to smooth out the floor and maybe “glue” those nails in place? Or any other thoughts? Thanks!
