size/etc. of OSO Easy Cherry Pie Rose bush?
Comments (4)Not sure how much this helps, but IâÂÂm in hot, humid Alabama where blackspot is a huge issue. IâÂÂve not grown OSO Easy Cherry Pie, but I have three OSO Easy Paprika bushes that IâÂÂve grown for I think 4 years now. I have never sprayed them, and they have never had any sign of blackspot. Here they are better than knockouts. PM really isn't a problem down here, so not sure on their resistance to it. I hard prune them late winter and that keeps them at about 2 ý to 3 ft tall and wide by end of season. Perfectly rounded bushes covered in blooms all season. If you arenâÂÂt vigilant about deadheading, they set hips like crazy....See MoreLOOKING for: easy pie recipes
Comments (1)Hello! I have some pies's recipes.... I think this is very simply and delicious: ingredients: 1/2 Kg apples 2 eggs 200 g sugar (7.05 oz) 200 g flour (7.05 oz) 100 g potato flour (3.53) 1 lemon a little milk a little powder cinnamon. 1 packet of baking powder Butter and breadcrumbs (or flour) for the cake tin. Butter the cake tin and sprinkle of breadcrumbs. Wash, peel, remove the core and thinly slice the apples. In a bowl slam eggs with 150g of sugar (5.29 oz), add flour, potato flour, grated rind of lemon, milk, half of apples and for the last baking powder. Stir until mixture is well blended. Pour all in the cake tin. Garnish the top with apple's slices remained, alternating with a spoon of sugar and a pinches of cinnamon. Put cake tin in the hot oven for 40 mins a 200ðc. Tell me if you like it....See MorePink Lemonade Pie
Comments (5)Gabriell, mom tasted it and it was too sour for her. I tasted it and it's a little sour but the graham cracker crust helps with that. The pie doesn't look pink either and it's more the color of a cheesecake. Still, all and all, not a bad recipe ! Brad AKA Moonwolf...See MoreFOTESS JULY SWAP: “Our Neighborhood Lemonade Stand”
Comments (94)No one has signed up for September soooooo how about we each pick 5 or 6 members at random and just send a card with a brief note. A new address list arrived recently and I think several are folks I have not seen any posts from in a very long time. I have been missing from the action I believe since before Covid started. A pack of note cards is still less than $2.00 and even with stamps this will be a thrifty way to keep connected. I hope everyone will send at least a card or two. No need to commit or say yes or no, unless you want To post. I sorta like the element of surprise/suspense. I have finished renewing my master gardener certification and am enjoying participating in that. The classes and program have changed a lot since I first did it about 30 years ago. Showing my age for sure but I'm too old to care Bethb...See More- 8 years ago
