is tide discontinuing ultra stain release free

So I don’t see this on tide’s website. Is this still an exclusive with target ? Or why is this being discontinued?

Is a detergent comparable to this one ? Does the Persil proclean 2in1 come close ? What’s your experience ?

It’s an exclusive to target. Last time I was in target I had asked the manager and she’s had said there were rumors that the ultra stain release free was being discontinued but I’ve seen it at target for awhile now.

Persil 2 in 1 is the best persil has to offer in their American line (extra enzymes for stain fighting abilities) and works very well. Of course what works for me may not work for you either.

If you like detergent with no scent and want to try Persil, get the sensitive/ Free formula if you don't want scent. For me, Persil scented versions are just too loud, but again that's just me.

@livebetter...the scented version is excellent. If I re-buy, I will buy the scented (just because I like scented anything better). I bought this Free version, since it was on sale. Both scented and unscented are incredible performers, now having used both!

Henkle redid the persil line (again) so that may be the reason for the delay in stores. I asked a good friend who’s a manager at Walmart today and she said they are phasing our the tide with bleach liquid only in the stores to make room for all the new products tide and other manufactures have made. This is for our region (Georgia) and may be different elsewhere. I had a theory and wanted to see if I was correct. Walmart always got to mess with good things. She said they are heavily promoting the free site to store crap and it’s happening with thousands of products once avaliable in stores. Go figure. Walmart is offering 10% off (with coupon that you have to obtain in the store) for site to store orders as a incentive.

The Persil sensitive is as good as the Tide Ultra free IMO maybe better. However....it used to be too sudsy than I went thru a few bottles that hardly suds at all...this last bottle is again to sudsy. I wonder if Henkel is playing around with the formula.

I’ve noticed our local Kroger and Walmart discounted all their persil sensitive formula (the large bottle was marked from 15.99 down to 4.99 and had 2.00 off coupons so bought all 8 of them last week) and at Walmart there isn’t even place for sensitive anymore. Wonder if they’ve are reformulating it again. Persil original pods have a new package I’ve noticed too.

Walmart and Kroger (all the ones around me anyways) discounted their persil sensitive. I picked up 8 large persil sensitive for 3.99 bottle last week. They were originally 15.99 marked down to 5.99 and had 2.00 off coupons for them making them a steal. I noticed persil original pods have a new container too so wonder if they are reformulating it again. Walmart took persil sensitive out of their shelf space though. I sure hope it’s not discontinued too since my son uses this one and works well.
