Underlayment for engineered hardwood XPS vs moisture barrier

Hi there.

I am about to install engineered hardwood and I see that underlayment with moisture barrier is recommended. I can see that generally XPS (vibram) is useful for leveling some uneven areas of the floor whereas the aluminum foil based ones have a moisture barrier.

I guess it's not possible to have the XPS with moisture barrier (having the best of both worlds) ?

What would be the determining factors when choosing between XPS and moisture barrier underlayment?

Thanks
