Several months ago I asked you for kind thoughts and prayers, and I am grateful for your support. They have helped greatly.

At the time, Annie wisely responded, "Sending you thoughts of strength, comfort, and the power to change perspectives so the best decisions can be made for all involved." She hit the nail on the head. In this situation much depends on perspectives.

Discussions and decisions made tomorrow and in the next few weeks are pivotal to the outcome of this challenge. Please pray that those involved are inspired with wisdom and compassion for a positive resolution for all.

Thank you, prayer warriors and positive energy conveyors.

I'm sorry, Gellchom. You are so sweet to ask. I started a new thread "Update on Anna" since this one was getting quite lengthy. She got the results from the Pet scan on Wednesday of this week. It showed a spot on her spine that could possibly be the result of an old injury, which she doesn't remember having, but at any rate they are going to do an MRI on April 2nd. She will see the oncologist on April 17th and learn the results then. I'm hanging on to the thought that she fell down a complete flight of stairs at home a few years ago and hit the wall in front of her with her left foot. Tore her heel all to pieces and she has a brass plate and screws in it. She was off work for several weeks. Nothing was said about a back injury at the time, but????? I have not mentioned this to her. False hope is not a good thing, I'm afraid. Thanks again. jude

Thanks everyone. She is a fighter but she hasn't had any good news recently, except for the birth of her first grandchild. She doesn't live near them so she is also missing seeing the baby.

Her name is Haley, she is 8 years old. She,and her siblings were spending the summer with Grandma and Grandpa in Montana. She got an Ear infection the somehow progressed to bacterial meningitis. They had to fly her to a children's hospital in Salt Lake City. Last update from yesterday evening: They're worried about pressure in spine causing decreased abilit to move arms and legs. Fever is up. Chest X-ray being done to rule out pneumonia

I hope that you find the wisdom, courage and strength, possibly including looking at things from a somewhat different perspective, if such may be useful, that you need to come to the best possible resolution.
