Could I ask for prayers please

My 8 year old great niece is currently in the hospital in Salt Lake City with bacterial meningitis. She is fighting for her life and I know the family would appreciate any prayers you could offer. Many older members will remember my DGD fraught and won this battle at 12 weeks old, we are praying for the same results.

Prayers coming your way to help in your familys time of need. The power of prayer is so awesome, and this is such a great family to be with here, know that we are praying for a quick sale to some wonderful people that will enrich your lives and be great neighbors. I know its hard to do, I am the last one in my family to own our grandparents homeplace and we have it on the market. This is going to be hard with it being the place where you both grew up and both of you living right there, but you can get through this and what a blessing it will be for your mama. Just a short update but no real news yet. They ordered the special eyedrops again and he should have them by tomorrow (they are made up using his own blood and done back East for that matter). He sees the eye doc on Thurs. If this is like past times, it is just a "wait and see" if the drops work and his eyesight is restored in that eye again. Because Jason survived something no one else had, he's often been uncharted territory for his doctors. They have taken chances on experimenting with him and as I said before, he's gotten a LOT of miracles. He is now legally blind, but his eye doc (a few years ago) found if Jason wears TWO pair of contacts in each eye---one soft and one hard--his vision is literally 20-20. But he can't have the contacts in more than 8 hrs or he gets eye infections. That is why he had to take medical retirement from being a homocide detective a year ago. His eyes were at risk from long hours on the job with contacts in. His wife has been amazing as well as he has. They are true soul mates, who live life to the fullest and laugh daily. She calls him "Sparky" in fact, to show their sense of humor. Jason feels there's nothing he can't do in spite of his eyes and hands, he just finds other ways to do stuff if necessary. He again can play golf with his dad and friends, and play it almost as well as ever. Shooting in the 70s as he once did. He amazes me daily. UPDATE Mom made it through the night. She had a rough spell for a few hours from about 2:00-4:00 but the doctors got her leveled out. Her surgeon said he is amazed at how well she is doing, and her three doctors had a pow-wow this morning about what procedures, drug adjustments to make today. She is doing OK for now...holding ur her own. I so appreciate your prayers.

It seems like God always answers when I pray for others, not so much when I ask for myself. KT prayers helped my cousin Joyce when she fell and broke her hip, then had a heart attack the next day. Also helped her sister Judy when she had a heart blockage and needed surgery on December 24 a couple years ago.

Her name is Haley, she is 8 years old. She,and her siblings were spending the summer with Grandma and Grandpa in Montana. She got an Ear infection the somehow progressed to bacterial meningitis. They had to fly her to a children's hospital in Salt Lake City.

Last update from yesterday evening:
They're worried about pressure in spine causing decreased abilit to move arms and legs. Fever is up. Chest X-ray being done to rule out pneumonia

Haley is moving her fingers and toes, whipsered "water". She is currently weaker on the right side
