sleevepresto, A floating vanity gives you some under cabinet storage while giving a more spacious feeling to a small bathroom. I thought about adding rope lighting below mine to highlight this, but I decided it might be too busy for the room size, and that would defeat my primary design objective. If you need more storage, could you incorporate additional between-the-studs storage besides the medicine cabinet? I bought two between-the-studs medicine cabinets that look like picture frames, but I'm not ready to use them yet. They're for my master bath remodel. They're very expensive, but very nicely made. Thank you everyone!! I should clarify, I wouldn't mind the tile if the white was actually white, it's just more of a worn/cream/off white type color which is throwing me off a little bit. I do like the idea of adding a pop of color - I'm just one of those people that's usually afraid of color! So I first went for white and black and got a little disappointed. Loving the teal/aqua recommendation though:) thanks again everyone!

I quite like it, especially all the wood. I for sure like it more than my own hall bath -and there I indeed went with a long-as long as I could find and afford- curtain, and bigger rug covering almost all the floor, and I picked hand knotted wool rug too-they withstand moisture well actually, and they do elevate places they're used in, being real and pretty rugs. That's if you want to see less of the tile including Ivy accent and all If you're ready to embrace it-and you're not against fluid patterns like florals or the like-I'd still find a nice shower curtain that has a pattern and colors on it that kinda support this ivy and yes, make it all look more intentional and maybe playful even, but that's on you to decide-do you hate-hate the ivy, or are you ok with letting it be part of the game? Are you ok with patterns that are more floral etc, or it something you strongly don't prefer? Geometrical bold patterns you have now are not bad-but they contradict ivy a bit. And they win-but ivy's still there trying to fight. So. I'd either go for colors and patterns that are more "hey ivy let's stand together in the circle"-or if I don't want much to do with Ivy nor with the main tile-I'd go for softer colors in accents too, picking clues from tiles and wood, less bold and contradicting, more repeating. I see tile as a bit golden beige, a bit tan, a bit cream-so these would be my colors. Then it'll still be intentional. The color you have now on the walls works quite well-making it darker as suggested might look very cool too. I might want to check out this route, samples and all. It's a good idea also to paint/switch mirror if you're up for this. Tell us a bit more about your personal preference, and I might be able to look up something more specific. In terms of accents And of course if you decide to paint-it's a good opportunity to change the lights, that said, if you don't like yours. I can't see them well on the photo. I'm quite envious of your cabinets and wood paneling on the bathtub, I'd have fun decorating your bathroom. Regardless the fact it not my favorite tile, or the ivy accent which I wouldn't have picked myself etc-it's still a nice place to work with I think. So, waiting for additional info from you, about your preferences.

I like the creamy/off white tiles - way more than I like stark white. I think both your "Pixel White" & green paints tend toward cool, and they're both drawing attention to the warmer tile & highlighting the contrast. I'd re-paint the entire bathroom. If you can find a warm green, maybe a light olive and/or an off-white warm paint, the tiles will stand out less and look like they fit in. I have creamy tile in my kitchen, with two paint colors - an olive-y green and a rusty color. Here are a couple photos:
