It always amazes me when someone posts a question, there will be someone who experienced something the poster was talking about and willing to share their experience with poster and offer suggestions. You can learn a great deal here.

i agree with all the above!! i pop in almost everyday to see what's going on, what i can learn, if i can help, ask for help, make suggestions, offer sympathy and play chain reaction. it just the best way to start my day, eating breakfast and drinking my morning coffee. thank you one and all :)

The KT is a wealth of information on topics from A to Z thanks to all who contribute.

I love coming and sitting around this huge kitchen table with everyone, especially near those who bring chocolate. LOL This is a great place to be with so many wonderful people and I've been here since the KT first opened.

I agree with all of the above.....this is my go-to place every morning while my coffee is perking!

KTers have been my family for 20 years. Wonderful, caring people who are always there when needed.

Another thankful person here, I can't imagine starting my day without my coffee and this forum. We are invisibly bonded and united. We laugh, cry, commiserate and comfort. Just what we all need, oh, and some love is there too.

I agree with all of the above. Always helpful and I have learned so many things.

I'll add my agreement as well:-). I enjoy and appreciate the varied styles of everybody and I learn something all the time.

I enjoy pondering everyone's good natured and helpful points of view on assorted subjects. I don't reply often because many times my thoughts & ideas have already been posted by others. Sometimes I visit daily and other times it can be weeks between my visits. But this is always a high quality respectable place to visit!!

The name is perfect. The Kitchen Table is where real life happens. Thoughtful people feel free to ask questions and contribute with true concern for one another.

"Ask, and ye shall receive." It will usually be more than you expected! The KT is more than 'the wisdom of crowds' due to the consistently caring 'crowd' at this table.

Glenda, I remember Spike and I got sent to Disney once, too! Yes, so nice to have the support of this group.

I saw Disney several times. Hopefully I'm wiser now that I'm older.

I really enjoy this place, talking back and forth, and teasing a bit on occasion.

I got sent to Disney several times ... and for a while couldn't figure just what was going on!

Back when there was a fee, someone paid for a year ($15.00?) for me, when there was some cross-border complications.

We have learned so much, and usually our questions are answered, not only quickly, but sometimes with points of view that we hadn't considered, but find interesting and/or useful.

And it has been interesting and enjoyable to have met several of you, face-to-face - sometimes near here ... and sometimes quite a distance away.

(Plus ... if they don't hear from you for a while ... they may send the cops looking for you!).

Totally agree. I love this place, come at least once a day but usually many more times than once. I love this discussions and advice.

Perhaps if you give some extra thought to what the others have said, and think of it alongside some of your ideas/opinions, you may find that there are enough differences or nuances that it'd make it useful for you to offer yours.

Sometimes ideas that sound pretty similar on the surface have some differences when one scratches that surface a bit.

If something happened (heaven forbid) where the Kitchen Table were to disappear, I'd be lost and bereft. I love coming here, asking for advice and offering some.

I've been here for 10 years, my how time flies.

I remember my first question that I asked, and was amazed how quick the responses were. Then I asked another one, and again, got immediate response. Wow, this is great!, I thought. And my chair has been here ever since.
