Digital trends magazine just released the latest list of the best movies right now on Netflix. Some I have seen some never heard of.

With this cold weather we are expecting I know where we will be! Bundled up watching movies and reading in the motorhome.

Flash back, we were at cracker barrel last night and I spotted these rolls of Reeds cinnamon candies. I bought a roll. Who remembers these? I was surprised by all the neat stuff in the cracker barrel store. I have not been in one for years. Thetc have very cute clothes, purses, jewelry etc now.

I've never seen those before.

As for binge watching on Netlfix: we are watching Timeless. The scenery looked a lot like the Vancouver area so I googled to see if that's where it's filmed. Yes, it is. So I messaged my sister and asked if she was in it: Yes. So now I'm watching the show and playing my version of Where's Waldo.

Oh wow! I want a Reed's cinnamon disk!

I can remember the candy shelves at Rexall Drug and G.C. Murphy stores.

Ha. Lost! DH and I watched an episode in the next-to-last season and that was all it took. Next-door neighbors lent us all the previous seasons and we binge-watched, 2-3 episodes a night, took a couple of weeks. Loved it! But at that time no one was talking about "binge-watching", and we were embarrassed! That scene from Olychick's Portlandia where they reach the end of the series is just how we felt. :>) Yes, I love House of Cards; DH does not, so I watched it alone (bought both seasons). Took my time with Season One, but took a Saturday off and watched Season Two straight through. Pound pound on the desk! Terrific! Can't wait for the next season. Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright are riveting.

After watching Justified (I am nearly finished) I am on to Deadwood. I never thought I would like it but it is a period show and has Timothy Olyphant playing a similar character as he does in Justified. I adore his character on Justified... plus just looking at him! lol So, I think I will really like Deadwood. Will keep you posted!!

I never binge watch anything . . . until DD comes home from college, that is (LOL)! Over her Spring break, we bw'd "Big Bang Theory". Now home here and recuperating from her tonsillectomy, we're binge watching "Grace and Frankie" and "Fraser". All of the above, we've bw'd before.

I just found those Reeds, along with their root beer and butterscotch flavors to put in my grandson's stocking. I was in a little gift/mercantile store at a town near Mt. Hood in Oregon when I spotted them. I was so happy, as I remember them fondly and know he's going to love the flavors, too. Assuming they're still as good.

We finished watching Timeless yesterday and started watching Black MIrror. When the second episode started and it was 100% different from the first, I googled. It's more like a modern day version of The Twilight Zone. We've watched the first three episodes which were all really good. I see that it is also filmed all over the place. The one episode being filmed in Iceland. Jody Foster directed the second episode. I only started watching it because my sister said she was so my curiosity got the better of me. We were going to watch the new X-Files.

In the middle of Hinterlands at the moment. A bit dark but fascinating........

ps. I remember the Reeds root beer! Loved that as a kid. Didn't realize they were still making them.

Netflix is wooing us again with a free one-month subscription. We tried it a few years ago and found nothing we wanted to see...that we had not already seen on DVD's from our library. Now, though, they have stepped up and produced some in-house series that we might want to see. We have until the end of January to give it another try, once we are settled at the condo.

Pudgedar, I've watched 2 episodes of Godless. It's a struggle to continue. Last night we watched Mudbound. I'm ready for something light.

Yeah, CindyMac, Godless is very dark. I didn't realize it was going to be so graphically gory. I'm up to episode 4. I don't know if I want to continue. I keep waiting for "good" to triumph. Not so sure it's going to.

We're watching the 2nd season of Travelers. Not as good as season 1 IMO.
