Can I make a quiche without a crust? I'm trying to control carbs and would like to avoid the crust.

Of course it would. I just googled "crustless quiche" to make sure and there's lots of recipes.

I think the US map is very rustic/lodge looking and does not complement your other piece. Along with the too much brown, not enough life/color in the room issues, I'd vote no. I like both of Beverly's suggestions. You can have a minimalist look and still hang more than one piece in that area. Not suggesting these particular pieces, just ideas for using something more interesting for decorating the wall than that map:

You want to stay away from the warm undertones. The best undertones to use are the green, bronze or blue-green to compliment the oak. I would recommend Benjamin Moore Collingwood, Sherwin Williams Repose Gray or Sherwin Williams Mindful Grey. I think Agreeable Gray would really bring out the purple undertones paired with the oak cabinets.

This would NOT be good stone for a walking surface. You would need a crushed mixture of particle sizes with the largest being no more than 3/8" to 1/2", and the smallest being dust -- with many particles of all the sizes in between. With mixed particle sizes, the gravel will pack down firmly, not be prone to scattering, and will be good to walk and set furniture on. And tolerable for bare feet (which the above, pictured gravel would not be.) It will be much cheaper for you if you can buy in bulk as opposed to bags. If need be, it may be worth renting a pickup truck from a big box store. It would be OK to lay down a cheaper base layer with a 2" topping layer, but this can backfire if there are changes or fixes made in the future, unless you separated the layers with polypropylene landscape fabric. 1" base is nearly not worth it. You'll need a stable edging of some sort to restrain the gravel from migrating away into the lawn or landscape beds.

Yes, I think that's a good option for the color of brick you have to work with. Look into RomaBio. It's a mineral paint, you don't want to use regular exterior paint on brick. They have a lovelyInstagram account with lots of "afters" by DIYers and paint pro's. You can get quart sizes for $35 from The Home Depot to test colors. Might sound pricey for a color sample but it's the only way to test RomaBio colors. We measured all the stock colors, I've specified about half of them and put the data values in The Color DNA Table: My favorites are Bianco, Avorio and Nube Gray. Richmond is pretty too but it's not technically a stock color (I need to correct this image).

Look for recipes for "impossible quiche" - this is the original crustless quiche using Bisquick in the custard mix to provide some stability. Used to make it all the time back in the day...........:-) Recipe can be modified to accommodate whatever fillings you prefer.

I haven't made a crust with my quiche for years. It works perfectly. Now you've made me want to make one!

A fritatta is eggs and cheese over vegetables, a quiche is a cheesy custard over whatever in a pie crust.
I have made a crustless quiche using a well buttered pie plate, sprinkled with uncooked quick oats and then filled.

Yes, absolutely. I made 600 of them in tiny muffin cups for that "appetizer reception" Elery's son had when he married. They were filled with various things from crab and scallion to italian sausage and cheese. Worked like a charm, and they freeze well too.
