oops! No I don't really love that. Either love the furniture, or love the pink paint. One needs to go. You're only showing the crib, it looks the worst in the last photo. Honestly, I'd sell the crib, take the hit, and/or get the new in a bright clean white. Save the chifferobe for a paint job ( where is that??) at a later date, for a Daddy project or a few good friends can have at it. Maybe in a cool pale, pale, gray?!

Clean out that closet for storage. The only things a baby needs at the start, are a warm safe place to sleep .....and you. There are white cribs..... literally everywhere. A baby need not have a chifferobe on day one.

Thanks for your input! The closet isn’t going to be utilitized at the moment for baby and is the least of my concern. Furniture was extremely expensive and we love it.. unfortunately, they do not make it in a white otherwise, we would have ordered it in that shade. Such a dilemma for me!!! :( Lol! I can see where you're coming from with the yellow color, but I think it's fine. You're daughter will only be in the crib for a couple years, thenshell be moving on to a big girl bed.

perhaps you can contact the furniture store about returning the chifferobe? It is much whiter in the picture from the furniture store than in your house.

Well. You love it but you don't. There is no magic answer. This depends your level of OCD regarding the space.We can not tell the actual tone, it looks different in every photo you have posted. The armoire appears GRAY in the store.

Paint the room and the trim it seems. I would stay far away from gray. Try a warm and buttery yellow with soft white trim! It will still be fine if a second baby turns out to be a boy: )

You have a very cool shade of pink and bright white trim against ( perhaps) a very off white furniture tone. ...... and that is what is bugging you.

You wanted white. Yes? Plead pregnancy insanity and return the furniture for something else in white. There are many options. Not the least of which is Pottery Barn. And a low dresser that acts as a changing table to convert later may make more sense than the chifferobe anyway

Both items are much whiter in the store due to the lighting and they have agreed to return them both however, we would like to make it work with them. The trim and base still need to be painted (freshened up) which is why I’m wondering if maybe I should paint them more of an off white color to not clash as much?? Or, painting the room either a gray to pull from the gray distressing in both furniture pieces or leaving the pink.. We don’t want to paint the room yellow; least favorite color, I’m afraid!

Great idea on the bulbs!!! I currently have LED bulbs in there but not the blue-ish kind so maybe I’ll give that a shot!?!

We are already getting a low dresser which will also act as a changing table. We very much purposely bought a chifferobe for additional storage. We wouldn’t have spent the money if we didn’t need it. But thank you!!

Okay...... you love a cooler palette and you got WARM furniture. They will even let you return/exchange! A crib, but for the X detail is pretty much just that. ........so I don't get it I must confess : ) But then I am not seven months pregnant either lol

As previously mentioned, I it will be fine when the room is finished. Here a couple of rooms that mix white and off white.

This isn't a problem. Change the light bulbs to a natural daylight. Add more white like the trim to balance the palette. The palette which is shaping up to be pink, white and creamy off-white. Matching your whites so they're exact and spot-on is weirder than what you have because it's unbalanced, IMO. At least this way you get some visual depth with a range of whites.

It would look strange for every white in a room or even in a house to be exactly the same. There is nothing wrong with the whites, you just blend your colors. Add more shades of white in the room, etc.

If you are to paint anything, it should be the trim work, not the furniture.
