Please help me I am lost. What to do about lighting finishes?
Comments (6)I'm happy you went with your instinct. Personally I don't like every finish to match and you'll find that you will never look at the rings around the can lights but you will either admire or hate your light fixtures depending on whether you go with what you like or with what you think it needs to be. I have different metal finishes in almost every room in my house and my kitchen actually has 3 different ones and I love it. The panic you are feeling is just the culmination of months and months of decisions -- you are literally worn out. It's also the anticipation of every single decision coming together for the final "reveal" that you'll have soon. Take deep breaths and keep saying "this too shall pass."...See MoreWhat do I do if I cant trust my husband???? Help Me Please!!
Comments (15)WOW All we got here is a lot of neuroses popping out in all directions ... someone who was cheated on is SURE that the behavior means cheating, someone who was not cheated on thinks it means nothing ... and we have no real substantive data to make an evaluation on, so we all go off half-cocked based on our own positive or negative neurotic interpretations of her situation. None of that helps ... So what to do ? Well first of all concentrate on your own mental health and happiness and stability OUTSIDE of fixations with him. Reward yourself a couple times a day in some small constructive way for good things you do. Reward him in some small ways with a "thank you" when he does something good for you ... "Catch him doing something good" make the most of things and be as positive as you can be. If there is a real and substntive problem, it will eventually be fully revealed, if not, worrying and crying and getting upset will not help ... but just create a problem for you and him both. Make yourself happy and healthy. Dont hold your life hostage to his....See MorePLEASE help me choose a bedroom HVAC unit or tell me what to do
Comments (17)can you please help with this. we decided the best thing to do is hook into the main HVAC for the living areas, Remove the bedroom HVAC all together. then replace the main HVAC unit with a state of the art 3 stage system (he uses american standard) Here is my question. Today in Florida it is 49 degrees! freezing for here. humidity in the house is like 20% but for some reason in my bedroom its like 60% (no ac running cuz its cold) Same floor, same type doors and windows, adjacent to living space, My room always feels damp. smells like mildew. Two mold companies have come and tested with meters to look for moisture in the floor or behind the walls and found none. I am convinced there is some sort of dampness present in this room (no carpets or drapes ) only tile, wood furniture. not much clutter, closets have been emptied into another room in prep for remediation, new roof, ducts have been cleaned, attic crawl space has been checked. HVAC unit is not dripping or clogged(that i can see, was just serviced and uv light added) the HVAC plenum is dry (although there is mold on the drywall in there) waiting for remdeation. My question is where else can i look for a moisture source? does mildew (smelling like damp towels that have sat for a while) have to mean there is a sitting water source somewhere? any other ideas. isnt it logical that if its a freezing day here i shouldnt need AC to draw humidity out of my room today?!...See MoreHelp me! Tricky lighting, what fixtures do I do?
Comments (7)Hi Emily, This is a lovely area. One of our fixtures with a drop bracket would work well with this application. See the photos below for some examples. The French Quarter or the Six Sided French Quarter on drop brackets are both great options. We can scale out the correct size complementary if you are able to send in your photos with the height of the ceiling and the height of the door. Let us know if you have any questions or would like any scale or style recommendations. Feel free to shoot us a message. -Lindsey @ Bevolo...See Morepetlover
