Gaonmymind- Sorry if it is hard to understand and thank you for offering to help. I want to put dinning table where the breakfast area is and move that door that goes to the porch. I want to separate living area by the wall with open arc. What i dont like about the kitchen now is that is seems to small for the large area and i would like to maybe bring it up so i can see the living room from it, but then i am not sure how to fit the dinning table in the breakfast area. I would really like to fit a large island/table in the kitchen area as well. And right now i dont have a pantry and i would really want one.

You have options! An accent wall can be a great way to accentuate interesting architectural features. Pulling the dark smoky blue from your dining room onto the living room wall furthest from the dining room would help blend the spaces while balancing the visual weight of the saturated color. Painting the wall adjacent to the dining room in that color might create a density on that side of your blended spaces. The alternative would be to pull that blue in in accessories. The modern farmhouse trend of white shiplap feature walls sounds like a version of what you are asking for. Not recommending shiplap, as that was done to death, but it would give you a sense of the effect of different texture/same color. I think texture (or wallpaper) would work better than color, because the way you see color varies from wall to wall with the light. So the difference in paint colors would need to be different enough for it to look like more than that normal variation in how the same color looks on different walls of a room. I'm not sure if you can get enough contrast with whites. Maybe if your definition of white includes sufficiently off whites. Something like white grasscloth wallpaper could be a nice accent. Or a paintable textured wallpaper.

Kudos to that furniture store to have the guts to have some color on the showroom floor! I went to a large mid/high end furniture store a few weeks ago and everything was white, beige or gray.
