NCHFP recipe for spaghetti sauce-but I only have 20 lbs of tomatoes!

I have about 20 lbs of tomatoes (frozen whole straight from the garden) in my freezer left from this year's harvest. I'd like to make spaghetti sauce with them--but the recipe calls for 30 lbs.

Can I just make 2/3 of the recipe if I'm careful to measure everything exactly? What about using a couple of big cans of store bought tomatoes to make up the difference--would that work?

I guess if I can't make spaghetti sauce I'll just can them up plain to use in recipes.

Any advice or ideas appreciated,
