Do my bedroom and bathroom colors have to coordinate?
Comments (11)Angelantix, what did you end up going with in your bedroom/bath? I am in the same predicament now and have looked at all your colors. I'm thinking of weekend getaway for the bedroom and looking for a bathroom color, would love to do beach glass but not sure it will coordinate. Now I'm thinking I should do a neutral in the bedroom and a blue or green in the bathroom. Would love to know how it turned out and if anyone has suggestions for a neutral bedroom color. Our trim is cream and my bedding has I guess like a rust'ish color with green and teal and a little gold in it. thanks in advance, any advice would be helpful! Comments (17)can you please help with this. we decided the best thing to do is hook into the main HVAC for the living areas, Remove the bedroom HVAC all together. then replace the main HVAC unit with a state of the art 3 stage system (he uses american standard) Here is my question. Today in Florida it is 49 degrees! freezing for here. humidity in the house is like 20% but for some reason in my bedroom its like 60% (no ac running cuz its cold) Same floor, same type doors and windows, adjacent to living space, My room always feels damp. smells like mildew. Two mold companies have come and tested with meters to look for moisture in the floor or behind the walls and found none. I am convinced there is some sort of dampness present in this room (no carpets or drapes ) only tile, wood furniture. not much clutter, closets have been emptied into another room in prep for remediation, new roof, ducts have been cleaned, attic crawl space has been checked. HVAC unit is not dripping or clogged(that i can see, was just serviced and uv light added) the HVAC plenum is dry (although there is mold on the drywall in there) waiting for remdeation. My question is where else can i look for a moisture source? does mildew (smelling like damp towels that have sat for a while) have to mean there is a sitting water source somewhere? any other ideas. isnt it logical that if its a freezing day here i shouldnt need AC to draw humidity out of my room today?!...See MoreNeed help coordinating bedroom & bathroom
Comments (5)I have SW Comfort Gray and SW Sea Salt as my master bedroom/bath paint combo. SS is one shade lighter than CG on the SW color strip. They are both gorgeous colors and work beautifully together. I get nothing but compliments and couldn’t be happier using them together....See MorePlease help me find a cozy and bold bedroom wall color!
Comments (6)I've no experience with any of these colours but someone here did do an accent wall in their living room in Porpoise. Turned out really well. My advice is to try out each colour on inexpensive canvas boards (dollar store?) and check how they fare throughout the day in your room. It's really the only way to see if we'll like a colour in our space....See Morecirca studio 8 kitchen bath & interiors
