How to fill space between sliding doors and wall

There is about a 3/8 inch space between the sliding doors and the walls of my greenhouse that allows cold air through. I tried attaching Silicone Rubber Sealing Sticker Seal Strip (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01M0CTI1B/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) to the outer edges of the doors but it came off after a few weeks. Any suggestions?

All-weather Duct Tape. I use it every winter to seal one of my GH doors shut and prevent drafts. Then just peel it off in the spring. The "all weather" type sticks even in the cold and wet weather.

We took the sliding doors off of our Harbor freight green house and put in a regular 36 in door

I'm with Krissie put another piece of moulding over it. Perhaps a 14/ round piece added to the top of the door. If this is an aesthetic repair, IMHO filling a gap like that with flexible caulking won't look good. That being said, if it's not aesthetic (you can't see it normally but need to get on a tool or something to see the top of the soor frame) then what difference does it make? Leave it and forget about it. Lastly, you could remove the top molding, cut out a piece of the drywall and replace with a piece that will fit nicely to the frame, finish the drywall joints, paint the wall and replace the molding. "filler" is not a good solution. Just my 0.02.

Since hanging bars will not help, adding the two boards -- one attached to the top and one attached to the bottom of your cabinet -- in order to create a pair of open shelves for your stack of washcloths and hand towels beside your cabinet would be the better choice if you cannot find a cabinet that specifically fits the width of the niche you have.

I'd like it to be temporary enough to where I can close off the room as I choose when we have guests staying with us. But once they leave I could pull/push/slide it to the side for more space and daylight. So your idea is perfect! I just found soundproof room dividing curtains online. I could install a wire curtain rod the width of the room and just use that. I believe this would be much cheaper/faster than building on to it and leave it as is. you!

You can't see that telltale red line in the side view photo? :-) OP: Consider putting tiles around the outside, in a border around the doorway. They look like they have a clean edge, so if the thickness matches the amount that the tile sticks out past the doorway, then that would work. If the tiles only stick out on one side, well, then the tiler needs to come back and do a redo. Remove and recut the tiles. I would tile the ceiling in the shower.

It allows me to open and close the doors.
