First time canning tomato sauce

I was so glad it turned out mostly red, but there are a lot of juliets and red cherry and grape tomatoes under those orange and green tomatoes.


I used apple cider vinegar for the acid, citric acid is not an option because it's made from corn and my sister is allergic. I also used a 1/2 tsp salt (these are pints). One jar didn't seal so I used it to make some spaghetti sauce. It wasn't bad, but I'm not loving the vinegar taste. I bought some lemon juice for my next batch, so hopefully that will taste better.
