Parquet wood flooring cupping "along a line" over slab foundation

Howdy. I live in central Florida in a 1950's ranch house. The house is on a slab foundation and has original parquet wood tiles throughout. The last few weeks I have noticed some of the tiles starting to "ripple" and "cup"...but only in a certain area and all "in a line". It has been raining quite a bit (in the last few weeks) but I have not detected any ceiling leaks. I have not noticed any decrease in water pressure (the plumbing pipes are all original). The affected tiles are all "along a line" in the layout of the house. I have included a "rough blueprint" of the home. It seems water (or humidity) is somehow affecting a specific area of wood but I can't figure out what is going on. Any help appreciated. Cheers.
