Need advice on irritating large area of ground cover

I was hoping I could get some advice about my irrigation options for my project. I have a hill alongside my backyard above a short retaining wall. About 62' by 3'. I am removing landscaping rock and would like to plant some ground cover to make it more attractive. I picked up some bacopa plants , they were recommended to me by a nearby nursery. Now I am beginning to plant and want to know the best route for my watering system. I was thinking about a drip system but there are many plants (72 to be exact) and that would require a lot of individual lines. Can I get some recommendations? I was told these need to get about an inch of water daily, and i am trying to have the least wasted water possible

A picture of the area is attatched

Thank you!
