Your main meal today .. Tuesday
Comments (29)Yesterday I went out for breakfast, bacon, eggs, hashbrowns, rye toast and coffee at my favorite restaurant. It's been sunny and cool but very windy last few days. Currently clear and 24° F (that's -4.444445°C for my fahrenheitically-challenged friends but I'm not sure what's "metric" for "clear"). Winds are 25 mph (which translates to 40.23 km/h) with gusts well over 50 mph (80.47 km/h). My roof must look like a brush pile from the sound of things overnight. Had a beef stick snack late last night. No breakfast yet. Probably will make a meatloaf and cauliflower slaw later today....See MoreAnything special for your main meal today (Fri)?
Comments (22)adellabedella_usa, I made a roasted tomato salsa with the last of my tomato harvest this year. It was so good that, I've been buying tomatoes ever since and making a weekly batch. I eat it with sliced avocados, scrambled eggs, warmed corn tortillas, and occasionally chips....See MoreWhat's for dinner (or your main meal)?
Comments (41)I was out on business calls all day and pooped by the time I got home late afternoon so I did breakfast for dinner as well.....mushroom and chicken liver omlette. One of my favorites. And sourdough toast. I have been in the mood for lasagna (who knows why!!) but really only like homemade so will be attempting to make a small sized dish of it today. Lasagna for one?? We'll see how well that goes :-) My sister is off pasta these days (slimming) and my freezer won't accommodate much of anything and after one leftover meal, I've had enough. Hard to cook stuff like that for a single person and not waste it............See MoreWhat is/was on your plate for your main meal today?
Comments (49)Spicy Chickens wings and a salad. That was our lunch today. I'll probably have to eat something light for supper like a couple of Rye crackers with tuna, pickle, onion and pineapple....See More- 9 years ago
