Desperately need help selecting exterior paint colour scheme
Comments (0)As you can see, the exterior of our house needs repainting. It is happening next week and seeing as though it is an expensive task that I have to live with for a long time, I would appreciate any advice/suggestions on colours. Because I like colorbond ocean blue and I do live at the beach, I was thinking of it for the roof gutters and I would like the house in a light/white colour. The colours I have considered are surfmist, white dune half, and white duck quarter (paint has to be dulux). I have absolutely no idea and I would really appreciate any advice or suggestions on the colours. My house is approx 20 years old with beige window frames, so should they be matched? The front door will be replaced eventually but not this minute. Thank you....See MoreHelp with exterior Color Scheme
Comments (13)If you decide to paint the garage door brown, make sure it blends with the brick and not the roof. The garage door is not of the newer style and is not a feature to be highlighted :) I assume you are getting a dark brown roof and not a light brown roof. I hope. I am glad you are going to remove the shutters. The next most important decision will be changing out that railing. It is a major part of your curb appeal. What are you doing for the railing?...See MoreExterior colour suggestions
Comments (2)Paint the siding white and paint the garage door and shutters dark gray like the roof. Leave the brick alone. Then improve your curb appeal with landscaping....See MoreNeed help with exterior color scheme!
Comments (14)Thank you all so much for your ideas! I absolutely love this house and will definitely update you when I finally commit to a color! The front shutters are coming off and several repairs still need to be made. I loved the idea of a fun color, but I don’t think I am brave enough to try it:) I’m almost fully convinced to go with Urbane Bronze and for sure a bold door color. Thoughts on if I need a second color or to go all one color how the red is now?...See Morebernielopes
