We are getting almond colored windows put in and were thinking of doing almond colored gutters/windows/down spouts with sage green siding. Make the garage door a similar almond color and the front door the duxbury gray. What do you think?

No, your fascia and gutters need to tie in with the roof color - which looks brown from here. If it blends with the roof it looks like an extension of the roof. There are times to highlight fascia, this is not one of those times.

Gutters and downspouts don't get highlighted. They are utility functions of a home. That's why you paint downspouts the siding color on which it is located. It makes those utility elements blend in rather than pop out.

The garage door is also a utility element of sorts. You want it to recede and to bring your buyers' attention to the front door. That is why the front door is an accent color and the garage door blends.

The almond window frames should work a bit better with the brick if it is anywhere close to that lightest brick color.

I don't see why you would highlight the corner trim piece. Paint it the same color as the siding.

BTW, what color is your roof? From this angle it looks black.

The roof is being replaced and it will be a brownish color (what it is now)

So the top trim pieces and front gutters should be a brownish (kind of like the current color)

and the corner trim pieces should match the siding

Horizontal gutters & trim pieces along roof = Brown to match new brown roof

Siding and corner trim and downspouts = Patone desert sage

Garage door = Brown, kind of like roof

Shutters=remove

front door = luxburg grey

If you decide to paint the garage door brown, make sure it blends with the brick and not the roof. The garage door is not of the newer style and is not a feature to be highlighted :)

I assume you are getting a dark brown roof and not a light brown roof. I hope.

The next most important decision will be changing out that railing. It is a major part of your curb appeal. What are you doing for the railing?

We will take care of the garage door as you have stated above

Yes the roof is a darker brown

We were either going to replace the railing or take it down and restore it too look better (sand/paint)

Also I have another question. For the windows, should we go with an almond colored window or a dark brown color similar to the gutters and roof? (see images)

I would use the almond window trim with as few grids as possible. The brick is busy. The goal is to make the front cohesive and attractive. Landscaping will be a big part of making this home very attractive.

The railing needs to be replaced. There is nothing to save on the one that is there now.

OK will go with almond and will get rid of that current railing, what color railing

And please verify below that I have this correct because I am taking all your recommendations

1. Windows = Almond

2.Siding and corner trim pieces and Downspouts = Sage Green

3.Gutters & Trim right under gutters & Soffit/Fascia = Dark Brown (match roof)

4.Shutters & Railing = Remove & replace just railing

5. Garage = color to not make it pop out
