A picture of your sink would help with opinions.

I'm the same way, unfortunately. The logo on my fridge is like that, slightly off. I left it alone because I figure trying to remove it would cause more damage. And the height of the doors is off, too, so I figure that makes the skewed logo less noticeable. :-(

Don't understand why an under mount replacement sink would automatically mean damaging marble countertop, unless removal is sloppy. If it bothers you I'd call mfr to get a replacement. If you got it from a "seconds or discontinued" kinda seller you might need to live with it. I'd be afraid of trying to remove crooked labeling for fear of damaging sink.

My kitchen sink had a logo that was off-center. It caused some confusion when the counter people were going to drill a hole for the faucet, which was supposed to be in the center. Luckily they realized the logo was off and put the faucet in the right place. Anyway, the logo annoyed me. But about a year and a half later, I noticed.... the logo was coming off! With a little prodding from me, it came off completely. But without a picture of your sink, I can't say if the same will happen for you. But I would leave your sink in place.

Here is a picture of my sink. Not HUGELY crooked (and maybe even less noticeable in the photo), but even my less OCD cohorts did notice.

Hard for me to tell if the logo could be safely removed without damaging the sink. The Ferguson rep is happy to replace it, so then the trick is if I'm opening up a can of worms by removing the marble to replace it. It is an undermount sink, but atop a newly built vanity. I would assume the granite folks have done this before so must have some ways to remove/replace without damage. I guess I just have to find out.

OR decide I will live with it. (I do realize this is small in the scheme of life and again wish I didn't see all this little stuff!)

We had a sink replaced and they took the old one from under cabinet and likewise installed new thru cabinet. I think that is why I was confused as to why marble counter was an issue (unless sloppy work).

Re: logo. is side w/ "v" higher than side w/ "D"? If yes, very subtle crookedness. I don't think I'd replace but it bothers you and Ferguson will replace. Yay!

Well... the picture in the link you posted was bothering me so much I had to close it.

The logo does not align with the center of the sink or the overflow opening on the opposite side, I think that would bother me more than the skewed stamp.

Wow, that's uh... hard to ignore. I don't know how I would deal with that but it looks super off. I mean, the logo itself is not bad at all but since it's crooked and the sink is white it stands out like a sore thumb. I hope you find a solution!

Wow I must be blind. I truly don't see the disparity you all see.

I'm just happy to see that I'm not alone and that other people are also bothered by these things. For gods sake,manufacturers, if you want to flash your logos, at least make people not hate you every time they look at it! Put the dang thing on straight.

I'm with you bossy. I wouldn't have given this a second thought. It seems so minor. But I guess everyone is different.

Question for the OP. Did Ferguson actually see your sink and agree to replace it? Or are they maybe just assuming that it's a gross error on their part and the logo is way off? I just wonder if any of the replacement sinks that they send you will be any better.

Don't get me wrong. If my cleaning crew moves my stuff 1/4" I know it and I immediately reposition. Anything out of order to my eyes gets noticed. It's not that I'm trivializing OPs concern, it's truly that I don't see it, plus when you are at the sink you will be looking down so it seems one would soon forget about it unless you crouch daily to look at it.

My solution: get a very stressful job where you are working 10+ hours 6 days a week and then you may not notice the logo is slightly crooked in favor of just getting some rest. :)

Denita, I actually do have a job like that -- the only problem is I work from home so I will use that bathroom all. the. time... just adding to the workday stress. Haha.

Greg_2015, Ferguson just automatically suggested reordering - and you raise an excellent question about whether a replacement will be any better. I will have to see. I would certainly hope (but probably shouldn't expect) that the manufacturer could see to it that they QC'd the replacement sink.

The granite installers said they replace sinks all the time (not necessarily for this reason) but that it's not a big deal. There is a separate issue they are going to be looking at next week, which might lead them to do a fix (possibly replace or reinstall) - in which case it's an easier decision to try to swap out the sink for one with a logo aligned.

It is a small detail but geez with all the details we've sweated and all the cost it is a bummer to have something dumb like that right in the middle of it all.

It's a first-world concern for sure...but hey, if you're paying first-world prices and it bothers you that much, then there's not a whole lot wrong with doing what you did to get it replaced.

If you find the skewed logo objectionable (and I do), I suggest you contact the supply house from which you purchased the sink and ask about their return policy. If they agree the logo placement constitutes a defect, they may agree to replace the sink. You'll still be responsible for the cost to remove and replace it, so you'll need to weigh the cost vs. benefit.

I am pretty particular about how things look, but it would be a real stretch for me to fuss over this for a very long time, especially since it has zero effect on the functionality of the sink, or to go to the trouble of replacing the sink. Now I might tell the supplier that I want to get a partial refund for the "defective" item, but that's about it. As I get older, the test I apply to things like this is whether I would want my epitaph to say: "He was glad he spent hours on _______________" [fill in the blank].
