Shaw's logo - showing or not?

For those with a Shaw's sink against the wall: do you place it so the logo is on back side (easily visible) or front side (can't see it unless you lean over and practically stick your head in the sink)? Thanks.

Hey bluekit??? Isn't the logo BLUE? lol.. had to laugh.. I'd have it showing proudly.. unless as the one I saw last week.. the logo is crooked, then definately have it seen only when your head is stuck in the sink.

Show me your Shaws in site-built or custom cabinet

Hi, my husband put in a shaw sink for me, it took time and patience as I wanted to show off the beautiful curves of the sink. Your carpenter will have an easier time building on site. Our cabinets were custom but we had to cut the opening for the sink. We made a template, cut the opening with a jigsaw and then kept wittling and sanding until the sink fit snug. These sinks are heavy and ours had an uneven bottom which is not unusual for these sinks. Here's a photo, we have doors to go under the sink but I plan to put a curtain there for awhile to see if I like it. This is our cabin which we moved into full time 1 1/2 yrs ago. Being DIY'ers newly retired taking our time we googgled 'installing a farm sink and came up with lots of hints. buehl- I am pretty sure that yours can be converted. The part is fairly inexpensive- $37 on Amazon (although I paid double that since I had to ship it next day air...). I called ISE customer service to confirm before I bought it and they said it will fit any Evolution disposer. I actually found the part by accident on Amazon- couldn't find it on the ISE website. You could look through the FKB category sink/Rohl to see faucet placement. I think it's a matter of personal preference. I asked about mine a few weeks ago, but didn't get any responses. I have a 36" Shaw's and, FWIW, my main faucet will be in the center, sprayer to the right, then the water filter faucet in the right corner. Left of the main will be the air gap and soap dispenser further to the left. (Unless my plumber changes it for some reason).

I love my logos and they show. I also really liked the certificate that came with them telling who made it , very cool. Definitely something for the house book.

I'm not a logo person, so mine is "hidden" on the front side.
Besides, I keep a dish tub in the left half of the sink so I wanted the sink drain on the right.

I'm very anti-logo about everything. I figure if any company wants me to advertise their product for them, then they can pay me to do it! So mine is hidden. Even if I weren't anti-logo, I personally thing the big logo detracts from the beautiful simplicity of the sink.

Do you have your sink yet? There may be imperfections that help determine which way to position it as well.

The Julien Logo is somewhat subtle, so had no problem with it. Besides, DH, whose name begins with "J," liked the cool "J" on the sink!!!
