That vanity top looks really nice, actually. I agree with going over to the decorating forum for paint suggestions (you'll get many, and very specific!). Would you also consider changing the shower door to a curtain? I can't tell what's above the shower tile - is that a trim tile in a different color? Is there wall above that? Personally, I'd just paint a really serene color that goes with the vanity, put in a nice shower curtain and rug, and you'll have a totally updated look.

There are literally 100s of colors of leather but I swear to God no one uses them in the US I sold high end leather furniture for 20 yrs and in all that time I probably sold 5 brown leather sets. I live in Canada and we seem to like color best A soft grayed green , a white sofa .I have 2 big dogs have had white leather for 10 yrs. It is cowhide not that soft leather that stretches and shows claw marks but stands up very well all the time.

Is the flooring all wood, with tile in kitchen area in a orange/brown look? Take that into consideration for wall color. Are you a person who enjoys color? What furniture colors do you have or envision?? Always start with main furniture and rugs before wall color. It is tempting to just get paint on the walls, but many have done this and regretted it. They suddenly found a sofa they adore in peach and the wall color that "was" great, no longer works. It happens all the time. Even off whites can be problematic. Painting is hard work, costly and you want it to be right the first time. Take you time, get into the home and figure out furniture placement. See how it "feels" to you. It will only take a few weeks to analyze what you think you would like, or get furniture you want in the main rooms then you can do the painting.

They "discontinue" paint chips to make room for new colors. But they still have all the formulas if you know the name. I happened upon it when I was looking through some older paint sample brochures from HD trying to find a nice pale gray. I went to find the chip at the store and the paint guy said they don't carry it but he could make me a sample.
