What does your bathroom floor look like?
Comments (17)All gorgeous and very generous of you all to share to help the uncreative types here (like moi) learn what is possible. Lindy I love your current bathroom - the floor and particularly the way the shower and bath are- I have a similar layout and envisioned what you did but had not quite seen it. Lindy- how do you like living with the floor you have now? It is really attractive.I am going to see if I can find it or something like it....See More(pic's) Sofa throw pillows, why am I finding this so hard!
Comments (27)Don't know if you have an IKEA around, but if you do, check out their cushion covers (I think you can also order on line for many of them). They have some amazing choices for a very reasonable price, and their feather pillow stuffers are terrific, again at a good price (they are not down, but fowl feathers, and are a great deal - I have a ton of them). The Alvine Lov pillow is wonderful, all embroidered, and a good size for your couches. I have two of those - shades of yellow, green and a blue-grey. The Urusula could be a perfect neutral for in there, and is 26x26, so a good corner pillow, with something more colorful in front of that if you like. I also like the Benzy Land....See MoreWhy is it so hard to find a nice flush mount, help me choose?
Comments (35)debi_2006, good point about the glass shade, I definitely don't want to be cleaning it constantly. LucyStar1-If you are still interested, it is the Cali Bronzed Chandelier from Ethan Allen. mamorella- The light looks beautiful in your space, it is very classy looking. Thanks! aktillery-Thanks for the photoshop, that light does look nice there. Errant/kitschyKitch- thanks, I will look into having a can light put there. We were going to have to hire someone to replace the light fixture as my husband is terrified of anything electrical....See MoreWhy is good soapstone so hard to find???
Comments (5)oh I feel your pain! I agonized over wanting soapstone for my perimeter counters. Brazilian Black or Mumbai Grey from M. Tex - no other soapstone I found compared in look or overall quality. I wanted black or grey - no green. I searched locally for months and months. I am putting 50+ sq. ft. of calacatta on my island, and I was really taxing my budget as is. One day I was at my fabricators swooning over my marble slabs (which, btw, took JUST as long to find!) and I saw this single slab of Cambrian Black Antique granite. It had that same sensual feel as soapstone I loved - not quite the same overall - but I really *did* like it. I took a breath and let go of my soapstone vision and opted for the Cambrian Black. It looks amazing next to my marble with that very matte almost chalky look, but still BLACK. Anyhoo, just wanted you to know that I feel your pain and was THIS close to just shipping slabs from M.Tex, too. Hope all works out for you!...See MoreBoopadaboo
