In case Jenn gets notifications on this thread, I have a similar problem. I wanted to use sconces but think there is not enough room so I think we might need to use a bathroom bar. How is the lighting you are receiving from the lighting? Are the shadows impossible? Troubling? Minimal? Thanks...should you see this.

Find out what solvent works on the adhesive you used. Easy way is to look at the cleanup directions. Might read something like "clean up with acetone" or "mineral spirits", etc. Then find out if that solvent will damage your tiles. If all is well, try a little test by dampening the corner of a rag with a little solvent and lightly scrub away in a spot, maybe behind a door or in a closet. Make sure the tile doesn't soften or swell, and that there is no changes to the sheen on the tile. You may even find an adhesive versus solvent versus tile compatibility/incompatibility list in the tile instructions. Use adequate ventilation. Or even a mask with organic cartridges. As to sealing, the tile instructions should tell you all you need to know regarding maintenance.

This should have all been handled in the prep. Was completely avoidable with the proper prep. But what we don't know (or understand) is why the shower walls were built out so far. One common approach would be to build jambs. Again, this is all part of the planning. Doubt the walls were that far out of plumb that you couldn't achieve a better result than you have. You should have been given your options before anything was done as what you have is not standard. There are so many ways to rectify this in planning. This stuff hurts my head.

It wasn't planned well to start. You want to save the paper on the walls. One mirror, get a trim carpenter and a glass company,. Move the light up, put the frame on the wall. Glass company templates. Paper inside the frame, will have to come off before mirror is placed inside, Paint frame white to match cabinets, or in a silvery metallic. Better would mean letting paper go, and a single 42 inch diameter round mirror after raising the light
