Fun stocking stuffer/gift idea for teen girl

I was at Target the other day with my daughter looking at the face masks. They had several "single packs" of masks. Some were mud masks and others were the kind that you have to peel off - always a fun one. As we were picking a few out I made a mental note that they would be a fun stocking stuff and/or gift idea. I am always struggling for that type of gift. Anyone have any other ideas?

I wish those masks were made as well as they were when I was 20. They really are rather wimpy now. :( In my home we get an ornament, a small 3D puzzle, something to read and treats. We have the best time over breakfast racing to see who will get theirs done first and wondering what they will look like. Last year we had lego animals the year before felt shapes. Toiletries/make up are always a fav. , fun socks....

I like the 3D puzzle idea and turning it into a competition. Stockings are everyone's favorite in our house. I tried magazines last year and no one seemed very interested.

Grandma loves jam and teas.....so she gets some special herb teas she wouldn't buy herself and also some small jars of various jams (usually baby jars recycled with the jam in). She likes to have a variety of toppings for her toast and doesn't like to have the bigger jars all opened taking up room in the fridge. Also "fridgies" those magnets for the fridge, shopping list pads (from dollar store - magnet mount for the fridge), book marks for book people, the odd handmade ornament..usually something small crocheted or knitted..for the seamstress in our lives...bobbins and a new seam ripper....Nothing is over 2 or 3 bucks in our stockings. Grandma also likes magazines and we will put some special one in for her to enjoy Christmas day.

That's great, I love that store! I forgot to mention I bought one of these for my DD and she loves it because it's like those sacks that fold up into a small pouch. Great for traveling. I have a 14 yo. She and her friends like makeup, nail polish, lotions, soaps, bath bombs, matching hats and scarves, fuzzy socks, soft throw blankets, face masks, adult coloring books, hot chocolate, coffee mugs, kittens and puppies. The throw blanket is generic enough, but really nice for someone you have never met.

My guys (husband and son) LOVE their stockings - I find it harder to find small items for the guys (girls = easy for me, makeup items, hair ties, lip balm, small lotion, nail polish, etc). I usually stuff theirs with lip balm, beard pomade, gum, mints, candy and various other small items that tend to add up so I try to buy during the year. Funny story. I've been married for almost 28 years, about 3 years ago it finally occurred to my husband that as much as he enjoyed his stocking maybe he should be doing my stocking...better late than never.

That is a fun gift for teen girls. That is one thing DD's friends will ask for when asked for b-day ideas. Wal Mart has a display with several different types. I'll have to remember masks at Christmas for DD.

even harder for teenage boys, I would buy sample sizes of deodorant, toothpaste, men's shampoos and body washes

My teen boys usually get the AXE gift packs. I think they are starting to move away from that to Old Spice. Don't buy anything in a spray. You can thank me later.

My daughter is a teen this month. She loves the face masks, makeup, bath bombs, fingernail polish in bright or glittery colors. Her favorite store is Hot Topic for fandom clothes. She has certain bands she likes and then Supernatural, Dr. Who, Harry Potter, etc. She also likes to take my makeup and hair things.
