I loved seeing your pictures of Biscuit. So sorry for your loss, but thank you for rescuing her. We just put our 15 year old standard poodle down a few weeks ago, so I understand completely what you are going through.

I add my condolences to the others. I've enjoyed seeing his pictures and I'm sorry you had to say adieu.

Thank you every one for all the kind word, poems & hugs. It was a hard decision but we wanted her to go out on the high road. We made the mistake one time of hanging on to a dog to long for our own selfish reasons & vowed to never do that again. When I spoke to one of the staff at the vet's office she said to bring her in. After speaking to Doc he agreed. He remembered us hanging on to Casey to long. Of course I stayed with her the whole time, my husband was at work. We are really missing that sweet little dog, we took her every where with us.

Sleeperblues, so sorry to hear about your dog.. You did not hijack this thread, you extended your hand out to me because we are in the same boat right now.

On the bright side-Calico Kitty is enjoying having her food bowl being kept on the floor now. Biscuit loved sneaking a bite of cat food.
