Yellowing mature Monstera leaves

I have a well rooted cutting of a 30 yr old Monstera. It was growing pretty out of control so I recently repotted it and split it up while doing so as a space saving solution. I am worried splitting it caused it stress. About a week in I can see that some of my leaves are starting to yellow. I have researched it and all I can think is I have over watered or I don't have soil with right amount of drainage. Possibly the new pot isn't large enough.. Should I pull it out and add perlite or sand to the existing soil, maybe trim the roots? Which I have no experience or knowledge about that. Would love any advice!
