An absolutely wonderful house!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so glad you told us all the details. Since I can no longer print text from In. Ex. at this site(don't know why) I will have to sign on at Mozilla to print the instructions. At least I could put it on my Clippings, until I get that done!

Good information from raven and here's more to think about. Hi sportsman12, There could be a lot of things going on, sounds like it's limited to that computer though, since the other one connects. We should be trying 2 browsers too to see if it's browser related. Have you tried 2 different browsers Internet Explorer and another one like Firefox. Sometimes an Anti Virus or Firewall can cause issues, since that is a new router your firewall may not like it just yet. Restart the computer now keep hitting the F8 key. The computer should boot to the Windows Advanced Options Menu. Once you get there Black screen with white letters, use the arrow keys to select Safe Mode With Networking hit enter now try again to connect to www.Google.com. See if it connects there. This mode runs without Anti Virus and firewall that's why we want to try it. Don't surf in this mode if it does connect here. Some laptops have a wireless switch on them. Does yours? There are 2 small computer Icons down by the clock, right click them and notice the options available in case you have not done that yet. Note any errors. Next we can look in the Device Manger for errors, and or reinstall the Wireless adapter and flush the DNS as that's what appears to be going on. Since you see a strong connection and unable to connect that points to a DNS issue and it's just a matter of flushing it and renewing it. We can get to that if needed.

On a windows machine I would recommend uninstalling flash and reinstalling it if it's a constant problem. The link to the Adobe page is above and has the uninstaller and the re- installer. As far as the other symptoms you describe in your post re-installing flash would do little to help. I don't know how to direct you on an 0sx-Snow Leopard OS. What I could suggest is a Mac forum. This is one of many see link. Here is a link that might be useful: discussions.apple

Thank you zep and ravencajun. I'm writing through a friend because now I can't log in to GW! Same old stupid thing of page had been cancelled, no connection blah blah. What I did before writing in the first time was run disc clean, defragmentation, ad ware SE Personal and yes I had rebooted. Since then I have run the ATF cleaner, run the complete scan on superantispyware, unplugged every wire in the back of the tower, replugged. Apprently IE is down also because I clicked on the e and got the same message of not being able to display this page. However this page did give me a place to click on diagnose. It said "Windows could not detect any wired or wireless network cards cards on your machine. If you are connecting to the Internet through a phone line using a dial up connection you will need to contact your ISP. Otherwise please make your your network card drivers are installed properly." Why would they suddenly disappear? I don't think I deleted any programs. Answers for zep: Mozilla says page load error, Firefox can't find the server .The browser could not find the host server for the provided address. IE sigh, I want to say I upgraded to 7 but don't know where I would find the info except on the now defunct IE page. It is an elderly Dell computer, I have Windows XP. Thanks for your help, Kabby
