I watched part of it. I don't like hip-hop, but I am a Pop fan so I did like some of the performances. I thought the band was way too loud though on all the songs. I would have liked to have heard the artist's voice. I agree that Jerry Lee did look ill and Miley looked older than she really is. I didn't mind Winehouse's songs, but I kept thinking she was going to pull up her dress or something..she was almost doing the crotch-grabbing thing some of the guys do. She did seem genuinely surprised and happy to have won though. I liked the song Kayne West did for his Mom. It actually made me a little teary. I thought the Beatle's tribute was wierd. Maybe I just didn't get it? Overall I think I would have enjoyed the show if the band hadn't been blaring over the artist's voice on every song.

Didn't finish. Scrapped it after watching about half. Took it off of the TiVo schedule for next week. It's almost a signal when they try to grab your attention right off with random sex, Why??? i guess others like to WATCH? I enjoy several shows where they TALK a lot about it but don't find it necessary to be graphic...and I love Big Bag, Mike & Molly and others of the same genre. I sure wish there was some network shows I could watch with my grandkids like we used to do with our own kids.

i knew John Legend was a singer but couldn't tell you the title of a single song he sings. he has a really great voice! was kinda thinking i was gonna ve disappointed - ya know, nothing compares to original - but was so WRONG! was probably only about a minute into the overture when i was cranking up the volume... had to remember to turn it back DOWN when performance was over. no commercials would have made it great, but ya know how that goes. i also pretty much knew/remembered all the words, too!

My mistake, 'Creepy' did go through. I guess there are those who like that type of thing, but I'm not one of them. To me she seems, I don't know, depressing? Sinister? Even kind of evil. And she did win in Asia. I've got mixed emotions about someone winning the show in one country, then coming to another country and entering the same show. Doesn't really seem quite fair to me. And I've always had a question in my mind about rules for contestants. I wonder what, if any, qualifications they have to meet in order to audition. The group that got the Golden Buzzer were fantastic! I can easily see them winning the whole thing! And I actually laughed out loud at the lady stand-up comedian, she was really funny! I have seen trained cats before, once at Fiesta Texas, and once in a Ringling Bros. Barnum and Bailey circus matinee. But neither act was any where near as good as last night's cats were. Looks like some really tough competition this year! Rusty
