It was interesting, but not nearly as fun as the last couple councils! lol

Well Russell will never be favored by a voting at tribal counsel of the Jury. I don't see how he can win.

well he isn't very well liked for sure, but I give him credit because he is a master at playing the game. I think they will boot him soon. They will blindside him so he can't use that immunity idol.

I was glad to see Dave go, he was so namby-pamby, always saying stuff "yeah, I understand why you feel like that, uh huh, OK", just real pandering, sort of, like he was afraid to actually stand up for himself over anything. Besides boiling chicken, that is! But, boy- they sure led us to believe that Shambo would be voted out in that first vote. The editing is sooooo misleading.

And then Monica's statement to Russell- "I'm voting for whoever NEEDS the money the most." Strange criteria, if you ask me. I wouldn't, I'd vote for whoever played the best game, IMO. She was SO smug at council last night, I was happy she got the boot. Russell is manipulating everyone very nicely. Yeah, he's cocky, but he's doing a good job. I think Jaison and Mick are about to turn on him, though.

That's the thing about this show, though. Everyone there can hate someone, but if that person gets to the final two, they get the votes because the jury members end up saying/feeling that this person may have been hateful, but they played the game well. And Russell is playing the game very well right now.

Yep, I agree, I think Jaison has already decided and Mick is about ready to turn. As much as I think Russell is a snake he really is excelling at this game...just as he does in business I guess. Sad to say!

Russell has played a great game from day one. I was so glad to see Monica go. Like Russell said she's dumb. She may be book smart but she sure wasn't paying attention to the game. At least the other players see Russell for his strength in the way he's playing the game. You tick him off...you're gone. What part of that didn't Monica get? Silly twit.

Loved how Russell sort of "played" the idol. LOL

If he makes it to the final two he I predict he will get the jury's vote. No one can deny he was the best player.

I think Russell could get it all particularly if he ends up against Shambo.

I thought he was rather annoying to hang the idol around his neck and look at everybody so smugly. And smart not to use is when it came time. I agree he is playing a good game, but I don't think he should win. I don't like some of the ugly things he says. He is a mouthy coward.

My guess is, that they will convince Russell that he won't need to use the idol because they've decided to vote out _____. So he won't use it and he'll be blindsided, and gone. I can imagine him on the jury!

I think Russell has been smart in lots of ways. But he has been really stupid to say that everyone is sooooo stupid. I think that alone will work against him in the end. Don't the members of the Jury get to watch all the previous shows and see what everybody said? If Shambo gets voted off and sees how he talked about her and how it was all such a big fat lie, she'll do everything she can to make sure he doesn't end up with the money when it comes down to that.

I laughed when he put that idol around his neck at council. Mostly because Monica had already made a real a-hole of herself, like she thought she was in power and wouldn't be booted off. REALLY a stupid move on her part.

Jaison and Mick will have to make Russ think he's going to get voted off so he'll actually use that idol. But Russ is smart and he'll figure all that out. If they get everyone to vote for Russ and he uses the idol, then he'll be the deciding vote for one of them at that council and will probably go gunning for the other at the next council. All Russ has to do in preparation for the next council is to act cocky and over-confident and they'll all get so mad, they'll all vote for him, and then he votes out whoever he wants.

This is truly the best Survivor series I have ever seen.

The jury voted months ago, Ilene, so what they're watching on TV with the rest of us cannot affect their votes. It might affect how they FEEL at the reunion on Sunday night. lol

It'll be interesting next week, for sure.
