Mama Loves Larsi!!

I returned home a few minutes ago after spending several days at children's hospital of Pittsburgh with Amiee (she's home now and ok) and I found a package delivered to me today from Larsi. I actually feel ashamed of myself, after telling Larsi the story of my grandaughter that passed away and Cheer I should have known it would apperar at my door unexpectedly...and it did. For those of you that don't know my grandaughter died at age of 4 after having a stroke at birth. The only detergent ever used on baby Sammys clothes was the blue box Cheer..

Larsi, this is for sure the GREATEST gift I've ever received. Just looking at the box I felt like Sammy wasn't so far away and when I pulled the tab just far enough to get the scent I could really truely feel her here, I turned around to go to Amiees room and there stood Amiee looking with her huge brown eyes, the exact eyes as baby Sammy had, they were half sisters. I can never thank you enough Larsi, my memories of Sammy were turning dim, but now I remember now like it was y esterday, and its all good memories...Thank You Larsi with all my heart. (((HUGS))) XOXOXO.

Larsi also sent me more Tide from Vietnam which I LOVE, Somat10 tabs that I also love and Ecover tabs...Thank You Larsi...and when you least expect you you will really really know how grateful I am...Cheryl

Thank You Larsi...you are very special ...I think everyone knows how I feel. but words excape me. I've sat looking at this page for 10 minutes trying to figure out words big enough but all I can think to say is Thank You. My mom used to say actions say than words, she was so right. and your actions say a lot. XOXO

MamaP/Cheryl....YOU are so welcome, and you are most deserving! I was so happy and excited to do this for you! As I mentioned in my letter to you (did you find the letter in the box?)...I bought you 2 boxes (the other one is smaller). I will send you more later, but this is all I could literally shove in the box and try and hold it shut and packing tape it sealed...LOL!!!

Please....you do not need to show me how grateful you are. I know already!! So please, no favors returned.

Even though we have never met, you are a good friend and a really beautiful person. It made me very happy sending a little box of Joy, errrrrr Cheer ;) to you!! Enjoy!!

Thanks! Yes, I'm prone to bold colors this year after such a drab display I had last year. I love how this particular color looks en masse. So I either have to spend $$ and fill it out or wait for it to spread. I'm tempted to buy a couple more. @rouge21, I'm not sure why I thought that. I remember reading about someone else here who was sceptical and asked the question, but I've read in some places that it's hardy to zone 4. My tag says zone 5. Regardless I think I will be ok, although I lost my beloved Harvest Moon - it never came back this year. Here it is, it was a small plant that never really grew as big as the pink ones but it stood out so gracefully from everything around it. RIP, Harvest Moon.

I made the "Marlenetini" and liked this one too! I used the cherry vodka I had so plain vodka may be a little different as far as taste. I like the splash of Ginger Ale as it gives it some froth and I used the rest of the small can of pineapple & shook it all up. This filled up my martini glass along with some crushed ice. So, another keeper! I'll look for the small cans /bottles of cranberry juice to use with the one you posted. Here is what sounds like a good one to serve for summer parties & you could leave out the vodka. Just found this. From..countrydoor.com Strawberry Slush one 46 oz can pineapple juice one large can frozen lemonade, thawed 1 tablespoon almond extract four- 16 oz. pkgs. frozen strawberries, thawed ( I would prob. put these in the blender a bit myself) one pint vodka (optional) Use a large bowl or an empty plastic ice cream pail. Mix all ingredients well. Put in container, cover, and freeze. Scoop slush into individual glasses and add 7-UP or Sprite.

I love that movie. I watch it every time it comes on. I saw it in the theater with my mom. I think I ran into a girlfriend and her mother leaving the theater. We all four cried during the getting ready scene. Just kills me to listen to slipping through my fingers. I love it so much and it makes me so melancholy, and so proud... all at one time. That song is hard to feel.

Ahhhhhh! Thanks Mama for letting me know this. Classic Original Scent Tide powder and Target Spring Bloom softener is the closest to Classic Downy April Fresh we have left today. To date, Tide powder and Spring Bloom are my fave combos. My new Miele Condenser dryer works amazingly well, but sadly it either removes or drastically changes all scents (not bad... clean and fresh, but totally different than they used to smell).
