Oh my.... Somehow, I'm not surprised at all. On their commercial, they claimed that hair changes with only 1 treatment. As I heard it, I was thinking how strong the solution must be to change hair with only 1 treatment. ... And now we know.

That doesn't make any sense to me. It's basically just using a conditioner instead of shampoo to cleanse the hair and scalp so how could that make people bald? I would say they had some allergic reaction to the ingredients. This can happen with any shampoo or conditioning product. I once had a horrible allergic reaction to White Rain shampoo. My entire back side of my body was covered in welts.

I know nothing about Wen or their hair products but I suspect this will be a hard one to prove as hormone changes and many dietary choices can cause hair loss as well. Even a diet drug that came out a few years ago ended up creating baldness in women.

I'm not familiar with Wen, but I had hair loss from another shampoo.

That's a shame, I hope they're able to get to the root of the problem (sorry for the pun about a serious matter).

The beauty products industry is mostly subject to NO governmental regulation or inspection, anything (short of substances known to cause unwanted effects) can be put into products and adulterated ingredients of sketchy origin can also be used. Products don't need to be tested for safety, to confirm that adverse effects and reactions aren't caused.

The nutritional supplement business is also unregulated and uncontrolled, As with beauty products, unsubstantiated claims can be made and there's no knowing what's in the bottles and jars. And no knowing what effects the ingredients may or may not have.

They sell it on QVC. I tried it. My scalp felt dirty and itchy. There are those who love it!

The strange thing about this hair loss is it's not just random hair loss, it's really big wads of hair gone in spots almost like someone ripped out a wad. I have hair loss from taking certain medications it's in the warnings and it's well known for that, it's a type of chemo drug. I also have thyroid disease which can cause it. Those have cause thinning randomly not in big clumps.

Perhaps it's from the lack of actually using a soap shampoo since it uses only a conditioner, might start to affect the hair follicles clog them.

My sister was using it for a while not sure if she still is. Last time we were together she was talking about how much hair loss she is experiencing. I hope it's not this.

I saw this on consumer reports, wow lots of people complaining about hair loss so it must be a pretty widespread problem.

I tried it after seeing the television ad. It sounded wonderful. It didn't hurt me, but it didn't help my hair, either. I'm sorry that I bought it.
