Are you ready to sign up for the Christmas Card Exchange?

For those of you who are not familiar with how we do this, here are the rules.

If you want to participate, please email me your name,
address and email address. I will end the sign up November 26. At that time I
will break down the list into groups of about 10, depending on how many
participate. You MUST to send a card to each person in the group in which your
name appears. After that, if you wish to send a card to anyone/everyone else on
the rest of the list, you may do so. Please try to have your cards mailed by December 4, so that everyone has time to receive them and decorate with them. Send me a message with your screen name, real name, address, and email, if you want to participate. I will email you to let you know I have received your message. I will NOT share your information with anyone who is not participating in the card exchange!!!

Now, what I need someone to do is to tell me/everyone, how to send me a private message thru Houzz. I don't want to put my email out here for the world to see, and I don't want anyone else's information out here, either. I know there is a way, I just haven't needed it, or had time to explore to find it.

I am adding Toni_ne. Yes, I am signing up, I just haven't added me to the list. I'll be last! Please, if you want to sign up, do it now. I want to make sure everyone receives their cards in time to decorate with them. Please, remember that it will take a week for the Canadian people to receive their cards from the US and at least two weeks for Europe/Australia to receive theirs. I know times are tough this year. If you would like to participate, but the postage for regular cards is a little much, post cards are 27 cents in the US. You can always buy the post cards in the business section (like labels and business cards) where you find the photo paper, ect in Walmart, and run them thru you photo program with whatever picture you would like on them, and send those! Maybe you have a great pic of last year's tree, or a beautiful waterfall, or snow scene. Make use of them! I have started using some of the pictures we take on our travels and turning them into cards, get well, thinking of you, birthday, ect. Could even be your pets. Can you tell I am trying to learn to think outside the box?! Please join us. If you are a newbie, there are a number of people willing to exchange with you. why not make a new email just for the KT people. Try : care2.com its free and easy.

you can choose from many names and they donate to different causes.

Anyone else? I am sorry for not posting again recently. DH surprised me. He has vacation time that needs to be used by mid Dec. He usually works every other weekend. So he has been taking Monday and Tuesday off those weekends, turning it into a 4 day weekend. Well, this past week became a 6 day weekend! Yay! We got in a few extra days in the RV with the unexpected beautiful and warm weather we had.

Anyone else want to join us exchanging Christmas cards? You still have until Thanksgiving to sign up!

Here is a reminder for the card exchange. I was out of town for the weekend, then found out that DGD is in the hospital on our way home, then Dr, appointments, ect, so I have not been on the computer. I have barely kept up with the important emails, and still have 150 to go thru! I know what I will be doing this weekend. In fact, today is the first I have been on the computer at all, anything for email has been done on my phone.

Toni, I did get your message, forgot I couldn't just reply and did, of course I got the failure email! Sorry. No you haven't missed the list.

One more week to sign up. I will probably separate the list into groups on Wed, night next week, and then send them out. I will be having the kids & grands Thurs evening for dinner.

If we don't get any more people, do you want all one group, or do you want me to break the list in half? There are 17 including me. Let me know what you think.

Mary, thank you. Arriana came home last evening. DD sent me a message, but I didn't get it. She is still getting breathing treatments every 4 hours, but is doing better.

An update on DGD Arriana. She has graduated to every 6 hours for her breathing treatments! She is almost back to her usually sassy, funny, sweet self.

Glad she is doing better, Tami! Just got back from getting my Christmas cards for this year. I also had a blast in the Dollar Tree, Wal-Mart and Dollar General looking for little stocking stuffers. We're having a secret santa gift swap at work. I also got some tiny stockings for everyone who's participating to put on their lockers for little pre-big gift exchange gifts. It was fun trying to find little inexpensive things for the tiny stockings. I love Christmas.
