No, I haven't mailed mine yet Kathy. I have one, but I'm waiting to get one that represents the area here. There's a holiday botique going on starting the 29th of this month. Scads of crafters all set up in this huge brand new home that's never been lived in yet. Everyone has to remove their shoes before entering. Also price of admission is a canned good item for the areas food pantry. After going there, I'll get them mailed. Then I'll do my cards.

My KT cards are all addressed, just need stamps and take the
international ones to the post office. They should be in the mail by the weekend.
As for friends and family, I have to get more cards :-(

I haven't started yet - Well, I've bought my cards and stamps, but I haven't started addressing them yet. I'm aiming to get them out on Monday.... Tuesday at the latest. We're moving on Saturday, so life here has been crazy lately.

All but 4 of my KT cards have been mailed. My family cards are addressed, but like Kath I need to write some letters before mailing those.

My KT cards are addressed and ready to go. I will mail them on Thursday because I will be gone all day tomorrow. I haven't started addressing the ones to other friends yet.

Well, I just came back, so I missed both. Can't possibly do the ornament exchange this year, but I'd gladly trade cards with anyone who wants to email me for my address.

I didn't get in on the card exchange this year. It's my first year to miss it and I know I will MISS it!

I am doing the ornament exchange and I got mine mailed out yesterday.

I mailed cards to everyone on both lists and also mailed the ornaments out. Everything was out a day or two before Thanksgiving!

My Christmas Wish 2007
In recent years, my parents health (esp. my mother) has deteriorated. I recently moved 600 miles closer just to be with them. I fear this may be the last Christmas for one or both of them. They really LOVE Christmas cards! As I was rummaging through the attic to retrieve their Christmas decorations, I found Christmas cards they had received from 30 years ago. They throw NONE away. I was trying to think of something really special to do for them for Christmas and I came up with this idea. If you have the Christmas spirit, and want to do something nice for someone (who doesn't?) - please take the time to send my parent's a Christmas card. Christmas was always a magical time of year for our family and I truly want to make this magical for the both of them. Please! God Bless You and I hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas.

sammy...your folks card is on the way! What a wonderful thing to do. Glad to be a part of it.

Sammy, I see you just registered today for the first time. I'm not sure it is a good idea to put your parent's name and address on the Internet. It could get abused or be dangerous to them. If I were you, I would ask to have your message revised and then just have us pm you, if we want to send a card and you can give the address out.

That is how we usually do it if we want to give folks a card shower. It respects their privacy as well. I hope your family has another magical Christmas filled with cards.

Leslie, thanks, will be looking for them in the mail. I'm late, as usual. Lauren and I went to Midway (a nearby touristy town) and found you another ornament, but I've had to work these past two days so will have to mail them tomorrow.
