It's that time again. If you wish to participate, send me a private message through my page here. I will need your screen/user name, real name, snail mail and email addresses. This is open to all on the KT, not just those in the USA, so you may also be sending to someone out of your country.

When I get your message, I will copy and paste it into a word document, then email you to let you know I have received your message. I do it this way for two reasons. One, so you know you are definitely on the list, and, two, because I have very dyslexic fingers, so if I copy and paste, instead of just going by the address some of you have given me in the past, I have the address correct. And this year, I may not have the previous year's address list. I "think" I have everything from the old computer, but the mother board died on it, and I have a new one, so even if I have it, it's on the old hard drive which we turned into a portable hard drive for storage! That also leads me to remind you all to back up your computers! Which I had done, fortunately.

The rules:

I will take sign ups until November 23, 2016. At that time, I will divide the list into groups of about 10, depending on how many sign up. I will then email the list out to those who signed up. AND ONLY TO THOSE WHO SIGN UP! I do not share the addresses without permission. You will then find the group where your name is, and the people in that group are who you will send cards to. After you have sent them their cards, you may then send to anyone or everyone else on the whole list if you choose to. We do it this way so it isn't so expensive for those who want to participate, but can't afford to spend a lot on stamps. You may buy the cards, or make them. You do not have to be crafty to participate!

If you have any questions, please ask. If I don't see it right away, I am sure someone else will answer that has participated in the past.

Also, we do travel some, so if you don't get an email right away, don't panic. We don't always have access to internet when we travel. At this time, I don't think we are going anywhere until the end of October, but I never know when DH is going to come home from work and say get in the motor home, we are going............ !

Wow! I guess I need to look at a calendar more often! I forgot Thanksgiving was so late this year. We usually have at least a week between. I didn't even think about it when I set this up. I do the list as I get the emails which is how you are put into groups. I don't pick and choose who goes where. When I get your email you get added. So the list is ready. How about we see if any more sign up today and I will get the list emailed out tonight? I will post a last call for sign up separately. After I send the list I will post that it has gone out so you know to look for it. Please let me know after that if you didn't get it. I am going to convert the list to a .pdf format so everyone should be able to open the attachment with no problem. If I leave it as a word doc it seems not everyone can open it sometimes. Tami

I am adding Toni_ne. Yes, I am signing up, I just haven't added me to the list. I'll be last! Please, if you want to sign up, do it now. I want to make sure everyone receives their cards in time to decorate with them. Please, remember that it will take a week for the Canadian people to receive their cards from the US and at least two weeks for Europe/Australia to receive theirs. I know times are tough this year. If you would like to participate, but the postage for regular cards is a little much, post cards are 27 cents in the US. You can always buy the post cards in the business section (like labels and business cards) where you find the photo paper, ect in Walmart, and run them thru you photo program with whatever picture you would like on them, and send those! Maybe you have a great pic of last year's tree, or a beautiful waterfall, or snow scene. Make use of them! I have started using some of the pictures we take on our travels and turning them into cards, get well, thinking of you, birthday, ect. Could even be your pets. Can you tell I am trying to learn to think outside the box?! Please join us. If you are a newbie, there are a number of people willing to exchange with you. Here is a reminder for the card exchange. I was out of town for the weekend, then found out that DGD is in the hospital on our way home, then Dr, appointments, ect, so I have not been on the computer. I have barely kept up with the important emails, and still have 150 to go thru! I know what I will be doing this weekend. In fact, today is the first I have been on the computer at all, anything for email has been done on my phone. Toni, I did get your message, forgot I couldn't just reply and did, of course I got the failure email! Sorry. No you haven't missed the list. One more week to sign up. I will probably separate the list into groups on Wed, night next week, and then send them out. I will be having the kids & grands Thurs evening for dinner. If we don't get any more people, do you want all one group, or do you want me to break the list in half? There are 17 including me. Let me know what you think. Tami

Amazing Aunt Audrey, I think I have it figured out. I am using an iPhone, so it may not be exactly the same on your phone. This is what I did: I clicked on your name here, so you will need to click on my name. Immediately under our name and avatar there is: Overview Ideabooks Activity. Click on Activity under my name. Now you should see 2 buttons to click, Follow and Message. Click on Message and you should be able to message me from your phone. If that doesn't work, post here again, and we will see what we can do.

You should all, except Cheryl_okla have an email from me. Cheryl, I haven't received any messages from you . I apologize for not getting back to some of you yesterday. I didn't get a chance to turn the computer on. If I check my email on my phone and see I have a message, I purposely don't open it so I don't forget that I have to open it on the computer to copy and save to my word document.

We were find here. No problem and had power the whole time. I still haven't received anything from you Tami. Is the storm effecting email too? We haven't got regular mail in 2 days!

I know. And right now, we only have 7 signed up, not counting me. I am hoping we have more sign up in the next couple of weeks. I know I don't repost this 3-4 times a week, but I don't want to seem like I am pushing too hard.

I just don't know why people don't want to join these things. Its like pulling teeth when I start a swap. More people should try it, its so much fun and you get to meet new friends, You never know where it will lead.

I have 14 of us signed up, including me. As that is all we have, unless all of you want me to split the list into 2 groups, I will just leave it as one group, and we send to everyone. Let me know if you want it split, please!
