I've never found a taproot on cudweed, Jeff - it transplants pretty easily. It looks to me like you've got a good bit of leaf left on the plants the cats are already on, so I think you can wait a while before moving them. And yes, just cut below the nest. ALs down here love to not only use the fluffy part of the flowers for their nest, but to eat it, at least that's what it looks like they're doing - they seem to prefer flowers to leaves. I can't tell for sure what instar your cat is in, because, since they're hidden in the nests, I don't ever get to see the whole life cycle, plus, for some reason, I can't tell the color of your cats. Are your cats red and black or black and green? If they're reddish, they're in their middling instars, and if they're green and black, they're in the last two instars. Lars, I rather thought the same thing about the TV cooks. . . but that's a heck of a lot of new equipment they must go through. Wonder if there's place they get rid of it. Hmmmm. . . . No, I really don't care if my f/p looks cloudy. I always am more interested in why it occurs. Along the same lines, my thoughts on when they put stuff in the over doesn't center on the gleaming racks. It's that the sound the racks make when the oven is hot is completely different than the sound they make when it's cold, so you know the oven is cold, even if they take it out later, steaming. I think I've also mentioned before that when I watch Giada the minute she first says "There we go" I quite watching for content and count how many times she says it. You would think I'd have something better to do with my mind, wouldn't you?

Eam, beachem, cpartist, and all who gave recipes for purée ing turkey, thank you! I didn't see them till now, but I know the caregiver made purée with the leftovers. Mom's sister popped in on the way to her son's, just as we eer sitting down, so she helped Mom while DH and I oversaw things (and ate!). The carrots, Cook's Magazines boiled carrot recipe (I know, I know, who needs a recipe for boiled carrots? I do.) came out soft enough that she could manage them just fine, yet just firm enough for everyone else. I passed on the sweet potatoes, it was one too many things. I used Mom's wedding china, her gorgeous silver, and the damask napkins. She didn't recognize any of it, but it color-matched the family room where we ate better than their dining room :) Dad was in tears at the table, it was his first time home since August. The house is his baby, he designed it with an architect, his own company built it, on family land. Probably our last Thanksgiving in that house. Time for new traditions.

The price of eggs has gone up at my local Kroger. The price of cucumbers was up last week, but produce prices vary each week. I forgot tomatoes during my one weekly grocery trip, so while I was dropping off my father's groceries I stopped at a smaller grocery which usually has higher prices, rather than go back to the larger store. Since I forgot tomatoes, I don't know how that price compared, but I did notice cucumbers were a few cents less at the smaller store Most of what I buy is still the same price, and although I always check the ads online and try to stick with my list, I spend more since I usually shop only one store. I have found that Kroger is no longer including the 5x digital coupons in their ads (at least for the last month), and some items that are frequently on sale don't seem to be as often. Incidentally, I have been using only my credit card to shop, thinking that it protects me and the check-out people if neither needs to handle money. Last week I had the misfortune of being in the line of a check-out lady who kept coughing into her sleeve and fidgeting with her mask while scanning my groceries. (Under her nose so she could breathe, over her nose so she could cough.) Then she handed me a paper coupon sponsored by General Mills. I instinctively reached to take it with the cash register receipt, but why couldn't the coupon have gone on my account, to be redeemed electronically? That would have been one less chance for an employee to be exposed to the virus.
