I am doing a skillet dinner of smoked green onion sausage with diced baby red potatoes and sliced vidalia onions. It is just so hot I want something that will cook fast and easy!

If my girlfriend gets the job she is interviewing for today, we will take her out for Mexican at our favorite place. If not ham and Swiss on Kaiser rolls.

We had some very tender beef tenderloin, mashed potatoes and pork n beans with iced tea.

It's all about stuff from the garden these days. I've fixed a marinated salad of zucchini ribbons, rat tail radish, grape tomatoes, cukes, chard, quinoa, and goat cheese. (I don't have a goat in my garden and don't raise quinoa, lol.) Robert is getting ready to grill some sliced pork tenderloin, also marinated, to add to the meal.

We had another big storm this afternoon, which cooled things off a lot even though it's steamy. If I wore glasses anymore, they would fog up when I go outside. It is "the air that you wear", that's for sure.

I made some brown rice and pearl barley and had that cooled, with tomatoes and cucumbers and baby spinach. Sauteed a big skilled of broccoli flowerets, and had the other 2 chicken breasts that I made on Sunday.

Angelaid, did you get to eat Mexican for dinner?

I spatchcocked an unrecalled chicken a couple of days ago, so tonight I used the leftovers for chicken/broccoli/mushroom casserole with fresh tomatoes (not ours), zucchini and cucumber salad.

Yep! I am thrilled! And stuffed.
