I am making prosciutto tortellini with a mushroom Alfredo sauce and garlic bread.

Bacon wrapped pork loin. Cooking it in a little Teriyaki sauce, sliced onions, mustard powder, paprika, basil...salt. Rice on the side. Baking peanut butter cookies for dessert. Should have left overs! YEA!

I'm making Oklahoma Onion Burgers with baked beans on the side. It will be my first time. Found many recipes online after I watched the Great Food Truck Challenge cook them. Simple and looking forward to the experiment.

Fall is in the air! The high was 17C today (63F). We had sausages with cabbage and onions with boiled new potatoes.

I'm roasting a whole chicken (simple, just garlic and lemon inside), it's in the oven now. Potatoes, green beans, sliced pears.

I have definitely made and eaten my share of them during our years living in Oklahoma. When I made mine I would dice up some of the sweet onions and mix it in with my ball of meat so there's onions in the meat as well as the giant pile on the top of the meat. I hit it with a splash of Worcestershire sauce while cooking. Man I can just smell it!

I did my yearly Costco shopping trip today. Bought a tray of their stuffed salmon. I absolutely love that salmon. I only get it once a year, so it was quite a treat for me.

We went out for Chinese tonight. I'm leaving for a three-day golf outing tomorrow morning so I know DH will have at least one meal in the fridge. I had Kung Pao chicken and it was delish. I had about 2/3 rds left over. I know he will enjoy it.
