Praying Mantis did not get his last meal!!
Comments (4)I had always heard that praying mantises were a protected species but I found out recently that there are different species and that the ones that are big enough to kill hummingbirds (4 or 5 inches) don't even belong here. They were imported from China to kill insect pests and now they're killing our birds and butterflies! I still think they're neat but I would probably do away with one that big that I found on my feeder or flowers. A little one I would leave on the feeder to eat the bees and yellowjackets. :)...See MoreLast Meal: What would yours be?
Comments (33)Duane, I have not read that book. I do have a book on past life regression, which I gave to Kevin so that he could regress me. I'm a very good candidate for hypnosis because I go into a trance very easily. A strobe light will put me under instantly if it is flashing at the right rate, but that can be dangerous. When Kevin was very small (around three years old), he remembered many of his previous lives and told me about them in great detail. I was the only one who would listen to him - he was quite talkative back then and rather demanding for attention - much the opposite of how he is now. He remembered a life as a Roman soldier, but he also remembered a recent previous life, in which he lived in Galveston. He remembered the names of his friends there as well, although he didn't tell me what his name was then. Now he doesn't remember these things. Oh, and if you're having a last meal, you might as well try puffer fish. Lars...See MoreWhat was on your menu today for your main meal?

Stopped at a diner and had chicken noodle soup, chicken fried steak, baked potato, mixed steamed veggies and french bread and butter with iced tea. Burp....See MoreHow do you end your last meal of the day?
Comments (31)I didn't grow up eating dessert seven days a week, and neither did my DH. After dinner we'll hand wash a pot or pan and knives, load the dishwasher, and usually read in the living room. We may have a little milk with a sweet there before bed -- a cookie or small piece of cake or pie. (We will have had tea and a sweet around 3 p.m., so we don't want a lot more sweets at night.) DH unloads the dishwasher and we clean up and go to bed. I couldn't drink half a bottle of wine with dinner. Who'd clean up the kitchen while I slept? We each have a drink (gin or bourbon) before we eat dinner --fortification for watching the evening news. Water with dinner. We only drink coffee in the morning....See More- 11 years ago
