Thought I'd post an update on my window progress. I went with Kolbe Forgets (Sliders; Glastra/Wood option). The windows seem to be well made and they are very nice but I have issues that I did not expect. 1. I did not realize that when I chose wood interior that the inside frame would still be white (exterior is bronze). 2. For some reason, the windows come with trim on the bottom and right side only. I guess these are casing stops. I have no idea who would want trim pieces on only 2 sides of their windows. Kolbe told me that's the way they come. That make absolutely no sense to me. 3. My sliding glass door arrived with only the stationary panel, not the sliding panel. Now that will take a while because the interior is stained wood. 4. Received one window that was not notched to slide so it's very hard to open & close. The salesman did ask Kolbe to replace that one. All in all, they are pretty and substantial windows but I am really disappointed in the above issues. It may be partly my fault but I would never have expected to see bronze Glastra, white Glastra and wood on my windows from the inside. The Kolbes I've seen in showrooms don't look anything like that. This was my first experience ordering windows but I looked around and researched for 2 years. I think Kolbe could do a much better job with the information in their literature. Your best bet is to have someone install unfinished flooring and finish it to match. Due to supply chain and economic issues, that will be expensive. Please note that bathrooms are allowed to have different floors from the rest of the house. Any flooring continuity rules do not apply. Lovely floor by the way.

Sadly, not really. Many hours have been spent in this laundry room forum lamenting the loss of what you are looking for. The last in production I can remember was ALL powder (not the free and clear), but this too is no longer available. I have two boxes saved in my linen closet for future use. Will be opening one soon... However, Grab Green makes powder and pods that smell nice in the lavender scent (haven't tried the other scents). Cleans pretty well too. Not exactly what you are looking for, but it's nice, considering what your choices are today. Hopefully I will stand corrected further down in the comments :)

Ok I will try that measuring with tape. The curtains are going. Basically, I need to get rid of everything in the room but a few items. I hear ya on the sofa issue, the bigger I get on the sofa gets, the closer to the door. I want to add drapes from ceiling to floor, one on each side, of sofa like this picture. I also love the shades, but my windows are not deep. Its and old house (1942). I only have about 1 inch of depth for a shade.
